You guess peace and quiet until the job happens is truly impossible. The poor timid servant looks at you with his pleading eyes, the eyes of a man who's desperate. You've seen it all before, if you didnt go quick, something tragic may happen to this poor guy...
Reluctantly, you excuse yourself from the company of your "friends" though, you question whether you truly deserve to call them that or not, and follow the man, who trembled with his every step.
You're once again led down a familiar hallway. You question if you have gotten caught, panic starts to plague your mind as you step closer to the door way to Ryuga's office. You take a deep breath as you stand infront of the ominous looking door, just being near it sends shivers down your spine now that Yumi isn't here to shield your from her father's wrath.
"H-head in soon please!" The timid man quickly shuffled away as he spoke, he vanished almost immediately, how scary is Ryuga truly for him to be so... nervous? You shudder as you're reminded of your first encounter with Ryuga. It brings you back to your senses, and you quickly head in while adjusting your clothes.
"Y/N. Take a seat, it's a mere brief discussion." Ryuga was sitting down at his desk, hands interlocked, looking extremely intimidating. You simply shut up, sit down, and pray that you're not going to die.
"I heard a report from my assistant, that youre progressing at a rapid speed, and can have the laundering done in less than a week. Am i correct in this assumption?"
"Yes. You are correct."
"Very good. I suppose Rui isn't a complete waste of space then, finally bringing someone competent enough to compensate for his lack of ability.' Ryuga sighed. "Though, we will only know if you're truly competent once this job is done." "Dont expect any trust between us." You could feel a piercing glare hit the side of your head, you couldn't dare make eye contact with that man.
Your eyebrows furrowed at the sound of Ryuga insulting Rui, sure, you felt bad but being insulted by the man who raised you is quite the... sad tale. Your heart aches in Rui's stead but eventually you gain more momentum, and straighten your posture, you're NOT afraid of Ryuga and you will NOT feel bad for Rui, he nearly killed you. TWICE.
"This conversation was merely to confirm the reports, you may leave, report to me through my assistant once the task is done, take any longer than five days and it'll be the end for you and Rui." You shiver as you stand up.
You dash out the door and lightly close it behind you, you breathe a sigh of relief, you're free! For now. All you had to do was sort what amount of money goes with which driver and you'd be completely done. since there was TWO entire free days you decided to relax and leave all the preparation till last minute, like you always do.
You return to the lunch hall, and see the gang chatting and having a blast, you sit down with them and finish your meal. An was going on about her mysterious girlfriend that Akito wouldn't stop pestering her about, while Toya and you just ate in silence and acknowledged each other's presence.
You all enjoyed your time together but then had to get on with your duties. You just followed An about since you didn't have much work to be done. It was quite the uneventful afternoon but you enjoyed hanging out with An. She took you around the clan, took you to... a spa?! And an Arcade room? Apparently all of this was recreational activities for the employees to help get their minds off of the violence that keeps happening. You and An challenge each other to DDR, you underestimated your foe. Tossing out moves left, right and centre, An was full of fury and concentration.
You both laughed as An won by a landslide. Eventually finding out too late that An was a professional dancer before becoming Ryuga's assistant. It was around 5pm when dinner was being served, being dragged at speeds unknown to man by An throughout the halls towards the cafeteria, you gave up resisting the momentum and let her drag you. While being swerved left and right the momentum is stopped as you bumped into someone, toppling over someone, you quickly get up but become dizzy due to the impact. You stand and look up at the unfortunate individual who became your pillow. As you look up you see a handsome blonde man, as you take a better look at his face, You're stunned.

"Are you...o...k?" Tsukasa's speech slowed down as you two recognised each other's faces. "T-Tsukasa?!" What are you doing here?!" "Y/N!? What are YOU doing here?!" Tsukasa looked at you. Puzzled. "You work for the Kamishiro clan?!" Both of you just stood there completely dumbfounded. But before you could interrogate each other further, you two were interrupted by Toya, telling you both to quiet down and that you guys were disturbing everyone and kicked you both outside. Following the lead of Tsukasa, you two sit on a bench, and continue to interrogate each other.
After a bit of talking... you two finally piece everything together.
"So... you're here. Because you're paying off your father's debt? And the reason you're not in staying in your home is because it was turned into swiss cheese from a mafia battlefield?!" You nod. You left out the parts where you were kidnapped and are in kahoots with the enemy, since even though he's Tsukasa. He's still a member of the Kamishiro clan.
"And... you're here because you and Rui are friends and to help him establish his position as an heir, you became a competent soldier who sticks by his side to prove to Ryuga that Rui can be a good leader?" Tsukasa looked solemnly and nodded in response.
"This is a really bad time to say this but... I'm leaving soon. I'm going to start my stardom career! I hope... you can be by me every step of the way until then." Tsukasa grins at you then walks away quickly, afraid of what your reaction will be. You're trying to process what he just said, before you know it. You're crying, he basically confessed that he's abandoning you, he was one of the only motivations for you. Your only friend. You continue to cry and stare at the pathway beneath you. You hear foot steps coming towards you. You look up to see Tsukasa, only to realise he changed into his performance outfit.

"C'mon! You're meant to be happy for me! Cheer me on! If you're going to cry, make sure they're tears of joy! Smile! If not for yourself, then for me!" Tsukasa looked determined and serious. You still stared at him blankly for a while. Eventually, his serious face changed into a smile and he started to pose. "I am... Tsukasa Tenma! I am becoming a world future star to make everyone smile! Starting with you!" Tsukasa pointed straight at you, in response, you chuckle. It felt as if a heavy weight had been lifted off your chest. With a determined glare. You get up, wipe your eyes, and hug Tsukasa. While basking in each other's embrace. Tsukasa hugs tighter. Shaking. You pull him away and you look at each other.
"Shine bright, Mr. World future star. I know you'll make it to the top." You smiled.
