☾Yongbok's Pov☾

A trip to a place that is unknown and for who knows how long is going to be hard on both us and the horses.Visiting them sounds so crazy and yet at the same time,it might be the safest bet "Who will we have to stand in our places while we are gone?" I ask Hyunjin before he sits down on our bed

"We could have our sisters do it,Dal is Jisung's new apprentice so he wouldn't know enough about that. I don't know though because it's temporary and normally this bullshit doesn't happen either" Hyunjin whispers the last part as his slender fingers run through his hair.

I sit down next to Hyunjin as I hold his hand gently in mine "I think our sisters will do great,I mean Hwayoung was practically always with your father back when he wasn't crazy and as for Yuna,she was training always and listening in when they had council meetings"

"How long do you think father was insane like that for?" Hyunjin asks me,it breaks me to think that he still thinks about that sort of thing but I know that in a way,we will always love our parents despite what they do.

"I don't know for sure,maybe a year after Minho's eye got blinded" I think something went wrong between the King and Queen back when she was alive because I remember them too fighting one day and she was trying to get him to do some sort of order to the clan but he wouldn't do it.

I won't tell Hyunjin about that because I don't want to start a argument,besides,who can ask what happened now,both of them are dead "Yeah,I guess that's when he lost faith in me,he thought that I did that and he believed that I could be a good king and that may have broke him when he heard Minho was totally blind because of me."

I hold him close to me by his shoulder as he lays his head down on it "I wish we had a better relationship then what we did those past years,I tried to Yongbok but there was no way that I could. He would just smack me when I said something wrong or he would ignore me" He seems so vulnerable right now but what got his mind on this?

"I know and I'm proud of you for trying,most people would have given up by then." I tell him softly before kissing him on the forehead before he squeezes my hand lightly

"I just wanted someone to guide me on what's right or what's wrong. I want to be a better king for this clan but I seem so lost. I just don't want to become like him" He says softly as I feel his breaths become unsteady and shaky.

I lightly tilt his head up so he can look at me "Look Hyunjin,I know you will ever be like your father because you don't have the evil nature nor careless about the things you do. You actually have the clan's future in mind unlike him who was just doing it for power. You have your mother's heart"

His mother has helped me a couple of times and she has a heart of gold and reminded me so much like Hyunjin in a way. She even sat down with me once and gave me advice that stuck with me to this day

"Don't let anyone tell you how to love someone,when you find that special someone,stand by them. There will be someone that is like your moon to your sun,don't let your sun burn out like mine did"

I just don't get what she meant by that unless she meant that her passion or love burned out for the king back then. There are many ways someone could take that sentence but Hyunjin is like my moon.

Nothing will make me part from him. I hear a knock on the door "Come in" Hyunjin straightens up as Yuna walks in "Your horses await outside,I packed enough food rations for a few weeks and also got a blanket and coat just in case. Healer Jisung said he was too busy with Dal to check the weather"

Hyunjin softly laughs as he stand up "Yuna,alert Hwayoung that you and her will watch and rule the palace while we are gone"

"Okay,are you sure you don't want guard Choi to come with you?" She follows us to the gates before she wraps her arms around me as I can tell she's trying to stay strong. "Be careful brother,please" she looks up at me as her eyes water but Hwayoung comes up to her grabbing her gently by the arm
