As days goes by, Asunta and her bestfriend Marley decided to go out and grab dinner. They were walking in the main street to see few restuarants. They saw an italian restuarant and they both approach towards it. Suddenly, she saw Almos hanging out with some guy. She thought to herself it was his friend. 'Should we go here? their menu looks appetizing' As Marley reads through the menu. 'Yeah sure' she smiled and took a glance at Almos. Marley notices that Asunta was looking at something 'What are you looking at?' as she gave her a confused look. She tries to figure out what she's looking at, suddenly she notice Asunta was looking at a guy. 'Ah, him' Marley gave her a smirk. 'What?' Asunta look towards her. Marley shook her head 'Lets just go inside' and proceeds to open the door for Asunta. 'Thank you' Asunta walks through the door as Marley follows behind her.
They both grab a seat and patiently wait for a waiter. 'So who's that guy you're looking at?' as Marley looked at the menu. 'Oh him? he's just a guy at my school' Asunta look towards Almos. 'Yeah sure, "just a guy". Do you fancy him?' as she looks towards Asunta. 'What? no!' Asunta said. 'Girl, I know that look. You can tell me what's up with you and that guy if you want' As she returns to look at the menu. The waiter arrived at their table as he proceeds to grab his pen and notes. 'What can I get for you?' As he smiles and was ready to write down their order. Marley proceeds to order first 'Can I get a chicken alferdo? Thank you' and smiled at the waiter. 'Of course Ma'am, What about you Ma'am?' As the waiter look towards Asunta. 'Oh, Uhm, May I have the Carbonara? Thank you' as she smiles and proceeds to look dow while the waiter writes their order.
'Any drinks?' the waiter looked at both of them. 'Two Ice teas please, thank you' Asunta replied. 'Anything else?' as he writes down their orders. 'Nope, that'll be all, thank you' Marley smiled at the waiter. The waiter nod and politely leave their table. 'So what is it with you and that guy?' Marley asked. 'Well, we met like few days ago" Asunta replied. 'Oh damn, how?' Marely looks at Asunta curiously. 'Well, funny thing" Asunta nervously laughs. 'He ran towards me' Asunta said. Marley looked at her confused, and the. she shook her head off and looked back at Asunta. 'What a way to meet' Marley said sarcasticly. 'I know, right?' they both laughed it off.
Suddenly, the waiter arrived with their food and drinks. He place the food at the table 'Thank you' Asunta said. The waiter leave and Asunta and Marley contiuned on with their conversation.
'Then what happened?' Marley procceds to grab her fork and knife. 'Well, he went to me again and apologized for what he did' Asunta grab her drink and took a sip. 'Oh thats good' Marley procceds to eat her chicken alfredo. 'Yeah, we hit it off basically, we chated on our phones and thats pretty much it' she said. Suddenly Asunta thought to her self about this burning feeling she has about him. Was it hatred, love, or revenge? Its killing her. It's like a string was pulling towards them. As she ate her food, she took a glance at him. Marley who noticed her looking at Almos, just smiled and continued to eat.
As Almos was talking to his friend, he caught Asunta looking at him. Blood rushed through her checks and she quickly looked away. Almos procced to go towards their table. 'Hey, Asunta' Almos smiled towards her. Asunta looked back 'Hey'. 'So what brings you two here?' Almos looked at both of them. 'Oh nothing much, just getting dinner' Marley replied. Almos smiled and waves 'Oh well, carry on you two, enjoy your dinners'. He walked away and looked backed at Asunta and smiled.
Asunta looked away and she just quickly eat her food. 'You nervous to talk to him?' Marley looked at her with a concerned expression. 'Yeah, it's so weird for me, since I've never really talk to boys' as she looked down. Marley grab her hand and gives her a hopeful smile. 'Don't worry, you'll get your confidence, it just takes time'. This gave Asunta hope and was lucky that she has Marley as her friend. They both smiled and continued with the night has to offer to them and went on.
