Xiao P.O.V
Everyone got up early and got dressed. We all knew it would be a long day. We dragged out the morning for as long as we could. There were really only 3 possibilities. They were going to cancel our contracts. Or, they were going to punish us. Or, they were going to blacklist us. I wasn't really sure how bad it was going to get. All I knew was that if the company didn't do anything, I was going to. I wasn't going to sit back and let them harass Minjun even if that meant I could never sing again. As we were leaving, Minjun froze and glimpsed at me. I walked toward him and wrapped my arms around his waist. I nodded at the guys to go before I leaned into his ear and kissed it lightly. I felt him shiver.
"Don't worry, baby. I'm going to fix all of this." I pulled away and looked at him. "Suki, Zane, and I have you. Nothing is going to happen." He nodded and pressed his lips to mine lightly.
"I don't want them to touch me like that again." I tightened my arms.
"They won't. No one but us will ever touch you again. Come on." I grabbed his hand and directed him to the car. Everyone was quiet on the way there. Our manager kept glimpsing at us anxiously. He knew what was about to happen and he didn't like it any more than the rest of us. I sat in the front with him while Minjun sat between Kat and Zane in the back. Once we got to the company, we passed everyone staring at us and went to the CEO's office immediately. It seemed that the rumors had already spread around the entire company. The idea that they thought he was a slut pissed me off. I wanted to slap the looks off of all their faces. Once we got to our CEO's office, I knocked lightly and we went in. Our manager was on our heels but stayed silent. Our CEO frowned at the sight of us.
"I assume you have heard the rumors about our youngest." He sighed and sat back in his seat.
"I have. What do you expect me to do about it? Minjun got himself into this situation." Zane moved to get closer but I shook my head.
"You're wrong. You tell everyone how you value safety but you can't keep one of your own idols safe? This has been happening for years yet you didn't care until people found out. Don't tell me that you didn't know. The said accused person who hurt Minjun is in your inner circle."
"What should I do then?"
"You fix it or I will." He smirked.
"How do you intend on fixing it?" I walked to his desk and leaned down to his height. I smiled.
"You think I would accuse anyone of this without proof? With all due respect, you're an idiot if you think that." The CEO stood up.
"Excuse me?" Kat then shocked everyone with his words.
"I have worked my ass off to protect my own and if you think I'll let you get away with this shit, you're wrong. Minjun belongs to us so his problem is our problem. Honestly, you're just as guilty as the bastard that hurt him. You won't do anything, fine. We'll just take you to court and very publicly expose all of the shit you and your little bitches are doing here." The CEO laughed.
"Are you threatening me?" Kat only smiled.
"No, that's a promise but I could threaten you if you'd like. I'd burn the fucking world down for Minjun. I don't care what you think you have. I will make sure that everything you've ever loved disappears from your life. Maybe then you'll realize how fucked you are. Actually, I doubt you will. I'll just be doing it for the thrill." I raised my hand to silence Kat. He nodded and walked back over to a very overwhelmed Minjun.
"I give you a week. If it's not fixed by then, I'll do something. We can handle this very quietly or very loudly. Decide wisely. I don't play when it comes to my boys. You outta know that better than anyone, sir. We'll leave now. I began to leave but turned around for a moment. Just so you know, that bastard that hurt Minjun will feel pain no matter what you decide. Your decision only depends on which one of us will make him feel it. Ah, Kat is usually calm but he wasn't kidding when he said he'd burn down the world for Minjun. Take that to heart, would you?" After that, we left the company and went back home. Minjun didn't want to stay while everyone was looking at him like that. I didn't blame him. None of us did. Once we got there, Minjun went into our room and locked the door. We knew he needed to be alone but it was dangerous for him if he did for too long. After an hour, I knocked on the door and asked him to let me in. He did but I could tell he'd been crying. I pulled him out of the room and picked him up. Kat and Zane were sitting on the couch. I walked over to him and sat down with Junie in my lap.
"Everything is going to be okay Junie. We'll get through this and start working again. I know you miss our Whispers. We all do." Junie nodded at Kat's words.
"You're right. We'll be okay."
