His mind felt detatched from his body. Just floating there... now he knew what "your head in the clouds" meant. It felt like flying-- being free. Free, something Aiden wasn't. And never will be.

He walked out of school the moment first bell sounded. He pulled up his hood and kept his head down. Aiden walked into the local car repairing station and flung his backpack in the office.
"Hey Mick", he called to the pair of legs sticking out from ubder a car. Aiden received a grunt in reply. Nodding, he headed toward a sedan on a hoist.
