Second lap

*Super Sonic goes in for a punch. Mecha Purple teleports behind Sonic and electricutes him, using magic to power its attack. Sonic feels a burning sensation all around his body. This also pushes Sonic forward a few feet. Mecha Purple then seems to smile... with no mouth. Sonic turns around, intense shade covering half his face.*

Sonic; Thinking: Just how powerful is this zones magic...? Even in my super form that hurt. This thing's threat level just hit the roof... and there's no ceiling to this castle.

*Sonic uses chaos control to slow time to almost a complete halt. Slowly floating over to Mecha Purple, Sonic raises a hand and charges a chaos spear. Mecha Purple eyes shift to look up at Sonic. Before Sonic can fire his attack, Mecha Purple teleports behind Sonic and punches him into the atmosphere. Chaos control fades. All that the ponies see is Mecha Purple floating, alone. The girls are surprised and terrified. Mecha Purple speeds off into the sky. Rainbow shakes herself of fear and pursues Purple. All other ponies scream in protest, but Rainbow doesn't listen. In the sky, Rainbow flies beside Mecha Purple. Rainbow steers to her left as she creates a Sonic Rainboom, aimed at Purple. Purple dodges, but Rainbow keeps swirling around and into a Rainbow Tornado. Purple doesn't feel anything. Rainbow kicks it up a notch and performs a Lightspeed Prism and incorporates it into the tornado. Purple is slightly dragged away from his pursuit of Sonic by the air funnel from the rainbow tornado. Purple breaks orders and pays attention to Rainbow. Purples arm stretches and lowers down into the eye of the rainbow tornado. Its fist charges a little electricity. Rainbow smirks.*

RD: You think a little spark is gonna hurt me? I'm Ponyvilles unofficial weather handler. It's gonna take a lot more-

*Purple fires his real attack. Thousands of volts of electricity courses through Rainbow, causing her scream before falling out of the sky. Purple retracts it's fist and turns around. Before the robot can react, Sonic flies down at lightspeed and punches Purples head clean off which sends it flying over the Everfree forest and Ponyville. Sonic then quickly flies down to catch Rainbow Dash. Sonic smiles as he floats down.*

Sonic: You have got to stop falling out of the sky. This is unhealthy. C'mon, this zone has to have some form of earth spirits- or healing magic.

RD: Don't worry. Like I said, I've felt way worse.

Sonic: Couldn't hear that part. Sounded more like a squeal.

*Rainbow gets angry and rolls out of Sonic's arms, floating the rest of the way. Losing rings by the second, Sonic lands on the ground and renounces his super form. Just then, Mecha Purples body comes flying in and punches Sonic just as Sonic is about to lose his invincibility. Sonic gets dug into the ground and the chaos emeralds go flying. Mecha Purple teleports around and catches two chaos emeralds. Purple absorbs a third, and the previous two emeralds, into it's chest. The magic of the emeralds then kick in as they fly off into different directions, spreading across Equestria. Starline talks into his comms.*

Starline: Come back. You collected as many as you could. We'll search for the rest after we have you two separated, your head returned, and a few more "toys" active.

*Mecha Purple teleports back to Starline then it teleports itself and Starline away. The girls help dig Sonic out of the ground. Sonic spits dirt out of his mouth as AJ and Fluttershy help him up. Rainbow and Sonic start to panic.*

Sonic: Damn. I was not expecting that. Rainbow, you still keen to fly?

RD: Of course. We need to get those emeralds that bot got back!

Sonic: We can't just race after that Mech, it's too powerful. We need to get those other emeralds first! Come on!

*Before the two are ablemto run off, AJ pulls out a spare rope from under her hat and tosses it around Sonic and Rainbow. A simple tug pulls both speedsters back toward the group. Both blues land on their backs and stare up at AJ who stands over them with mild frustration.*
