Wayne Manor
Matthew Ryder a 16 year old boy with black hair, green eyes, he wore a jean jacket with black jeans and white t-shirt, he had his earphones in as he walked around the manor, his parents died in a plane crash, and a few years ago he was bitten by a radioactive spider that gave him spider like abilities, he was then adopted by Bruce and was trained, later learning his identity as the Batman, as he walked into the kitchen he saw his adoptive father and brother eating lunch
"Thought you guys went out on patrol for Joker?." Matthew asked taking his earphone out
"We were, but case ran cold, Joker is up to something, but question is, what?." Bruce asked himself
"He's been thinking of the different possibilities Joker could be planning all morning and all of last nights patrol." Dick said as he ate some of his noodles
"This Joker case seems to be a real goose chase." Matthew said as he sat down, Alfred bringing him his sushi
"Your sushi master Ryder." Alfred said
"Thanks Alfred, your the best." Matthew smiled making the butler smile back
"I just dont get it, what is his game plan?." Bruce murmured to himself
Matthew looked concerned at his adoptive father before eating
"So, Matt, i've been wanting to know why you dont want to come on patrol with us? You use to be that hero.... Spidey?." Dick asked
"It was Spider-Boy, and im done with it, after what happened two years ago." Matthew said as he looked away
Bruce snapped out of his thoughts as he heard Matthew speaking about Spider-Boy
"Matthew, what happened then wasnt your fault, you were young." Bruce reassured
"Tell that to that family." Matthew looked down
Bruce looked down in sadness
It didnt last long as the Batwave activated
Bruce looked at it
"Huh, a meteor is coming down to earth." Bruce said as him and Dick got up
"Why would that trigger the Batwave?." Dick asked
"Dont know, but we should go check it out." Bruce said as he and Dick ran out of the kitchen
Matthew looked down, after a few minutes he went to his room and closed the door, he heard JJJ's podcast on
Two years ago, a tragic incident happened, all at the hands of the menace Spider-Boy! Now, i know this may come off like me beating a dead horse with a stick, but it proves that he was nothing short of a menace and criminal! But the question is... where is Spider-Boy!? Has the menace retired and left the police to do their jobs? Or is it that he is in hiding!? Hiding from justice!? Of all people! The hero of Gotham city Batman should bring him in! Let the menace face the repercussions of his actions! But he hasnt! Which leads me to believe that the Batman and Robin are hiding Spider-Boy! Folks it may be coming to that time where all masked vigilantes are proving nothing more then Masked Criminals! And should no longer be trust-
Matthew turned the podcast off and sighed
"It wasnt my fault, it was an accident." Matthew sighed as the memory came playing back to him

"What are they doing here?." Spider-Boy asked Batman who glared at them
"Dont know, but what i do know is that this property belongs to a man who owns a company, a company that could rival Wayne enterprises." Batman said as the goons broke in
