(Y/N) finds himself being dragged through the vents at a great speed, banging against the metal walls with each turn until finally, he's thrown into a hollowed-out space in the ceiling. Struggling to get up in his dizziness, the ravager drone looks around, quickly realizing that the chamber he's in has been turned into a base of sorts.

All over the walls are fairy lights that dimly illuminate the place, revealing notes that are strewn about, though strangely, there seems to be a hint of order to the mess. All over the walls are tools and weapons mounted on racks, each of them appearing to have been cobbled together from other objects, yet they appear to be sturdy and well-made. Finally, he sees a workbench in one of the room's corners, while a bizarre contraption made of four mirrors stands in the center, each reflective surface facing a ventilation shaft.

Shocked by the discovery, (Y/N) begins mumbling as he examines a note left on the ground, "What is this place?" To the ravager drone's surprise, he gets an answer as a feminine voice begins speaking in French, "[The only safe place down here.]" Instantly, the parka-wearing machine whips around and is greeted by a sentinel with its back to him.

Immediately, (Y/N) leaps back, plants his claws into the floor, and hisses while baring his fangs, ready to fight this creature; however, the next thing it says catches him off guard as it turns around, "[Whoa! Cool it! I'm not a threat.]" The sentinel then grabs its head and pulls it back, revealing a worker drone with red eyes and hair beneath it. Eyes widening, the ravager drone looks at the machine before him in absolute shock, "Madeleine?!"

"[Let me guess; you were forced into standby mode at some point and were thrown back to the memories of your model's prototype where you met past me and my creator, a human known as Waylen. Does that sound about right?]" (Y/N) blinks a few times before wordlessly nodding while Madeleine pulls off the sentinel hide she'd been wearing, revealing her leather jacket beneath, "[Good. That means I don't have to give you my life's story and we can get straight to the point. Also, sorry about startling you, the suit confuses the sentinels, so I kinda need it to get around.]"

Madeleine begins picking up some notes on the floor and bringing them to her workbench. As she does so, (Y/N) manages to regain his voice and immediately starts questioning her, "Whoa, whoa, whoa; wait, why are you here? How did you get here? And how do you know about what happened to me?!"

Placing the last few papers on her desk, the modified worker drone turns around with a slightly annoyed expression on her face before sighing and explaining, "[It's not exactly important for you to know this, but fine, I'll indulge your questions.]" Reaching over the workbench, Madeleine snatches a photo and turns it so (Y/N) can see its contents - a room that looks like a tornado went through it, its walls smashed, furniture thrown about, and machine parts littered everywhere, "[As you probably know by now thanks to you experiencing the original's memories, an unknown entity has taken over the body of a worker drone you may know as Cyn; I don't know how much you saw, but to put a long story short, the prototype did battle with her, ultimately doing enough damage to force her to flee at the cost of it being destroyed.]"

Putting the photo away, she then bends down and grabs an early blueprint detailing the construction of ravager drones, "[After that, Waylen knew that this was only the beginning, and since your precursor did so well against that abomination, he started refining the model: faster, stronger, more durable, and most importantly, immune: the perfect weapon against this new enemy.]" (Y/N) stares at Madeleine for a moment, confusion painted across his face as he speaks, "Wait, you said I'm immune. To what exactly?"

In response to this question, the worker drone tosses him a notebook with Waylen's name scribbled on the cover. Madeleine motions (Y/N) to open it before continuing her explanation, "[He may not have had a supercomputer for a brain like myself, but that man was way smarter than any other human I ever met. He figured out that the entity uses some sort of virus to hijack machines long before anyone else did, and so, he gave your kind an unparalleled security system, capable of destroying not just the infection trying to get inside them, but fully negating any effects that a corrupted host may try on a ravager drone.]" Instantly, the parka-wearing android's eyes widen as a realization hits him, "Uzi and Doll. I'm immune to their powers... so, that means..."
