Pacifica's POV

I'm nearly done with this, and then I, my babies, can be free

only 3 more months

on the plus side, Dipper has been floading me with gifts

such as...breakfast in bed

which was nice... until I spilt the orange juice all over the white sheets

...I hope my kids aren't as clumsy as me

anyways

I decided to spend some time with Dipper

...I feel like we barely see each other ever since he got his new job a few weeks ago

something to do with the supernatural I swear...or was it technology?

hmm...

anyways apart from that, it's been so long since I've seen his parents

...

*A FEW WEEKS AGO*

"Yes, I think we'll be fine, Mom," Dipper said whilst answering the phone to his parents

"ok, well, call us if you -"

"Need anything? Get it, yes, bye now,"

*call ends*

"I wonder if my parents will ever stop calling every few days," Dipper said to me

"and I wonder if my parents will ever call us." I sadi to him

"Hey, don't feel bad. Some people just don't appreciate the things in front of them," Dipper said

"Thanks also..."

"Oh, there calling again."

"Why don't you just decline?" I asked Dipper

"I would, but...."

I pressed the decline on the phone

"Oh, they're gonna hate me now,"

"So what? we've told them hundreds of times we're fine," I said to Dipper

"This is the difference between us,"

"What do you mean?"

"Oh anyways," Dipper said

Mabel's POV

"Honestly, glad my parents got me out of ballet,"

"Yeah, I've never done it, but man, it's expensive."

"Yeah, anyways, how about we go over to mine this time?" I said to Sage

"I have a better idea," she said

"ooh intrigued."

i followed Sage out of the cafe and walked 15 minutes to this lake

"Wow, a lake," I said to her

"Mabel, it's more than a lake,"

"What it's two lakes combined into one?"

"No look over there," Sage said, then pointed to her left

"What's that?"

"it's the old playground I used to go to when I was little,"

"Oh wait, you loved here your whole life?"

"Not exactly...my parents moved me and my siblings around a lot, but we loved here for the majority of my childhood."

"Oh cool, so can we go to the playground?"
