"Themba lami" He mumbles. I grin, turning around to face him. "Mhm?" I peck his lips. "As much as I'd like to stay in bed with you for the rest of the day, I have a lot of work to do" He yawns.

"But I thought you were spending the day with me?" I frown. "I am?" He frowns. "Yes, you personally said that last night before we went to sleep" I remind him. "Let's go take a shower we might leave in an hour's time"

"Ha-eh, I need to get my hair and nails done, today. I'm not showering with you, askies" I leave him in bed and head- limp into the bathroom, I take a shower and get dressed only to walk in to find him already waiting for me.

He must have used one of the guest bathrooms. "Let's go" I grab my phone and handbag before walking out of the house with him following behind me. He opens the car door and I get in while he goes over to the other side.

"Themba lami" He holds onto my hand, driving out of the estate. "Mhm?" I turn my attention to him. "Uhm... Something came up, I-" I cut him off. "I understand, just drop me off at the  salon" I lie, I'm not going to argue with him over this.

"Are you sure?" He raises an eyebrow at me. "Mxm. Don't ruin my day please, Just drop me off at the salon. I'll figure the rest out" I wave him off. "Ngiyakuthanda" He parks outside the salon. I remain silent.

"Naledi, Ngikhuluma nawe" His jaw clenches. "I heard you" I roll my eyes at him. He leans over and forcefully pecks my lips two times before deeply kissing me, I smile kissing him back. "Are you still angry?"

"I have to go or I'll miss my appointment" I look away from him. "Kodwa ngithe ngiyakuthanda nje" He leans over, pecking my lips once again. "Le nna kea go rata"

He grins, kissing me again. I respond before entirely pulling away from him, smiling. "Call me when you're done" He reminds me. "No, you have to get to work" I shake my head no. "I'm the boss, remember? Call me when you're done or we'll have a problem"

He places something into my palm, I look down then look up at him, frowning. "I'm not taking it back, you're my woman so keep that card, it's yours now, I got it custom made just for you" He answers me before I can even ask him. "I can't take your money Samkelo. I can afford to take care of myself"

"I know you can but there'll be no need for that anymore, I'll take care of you now. You're not taking my money, that's YOUR money. Uyangizwa?" He grins. "Okay" I lowly whisper. "Thank you" I grab my stuff and get out of the car, heading into the saloon.

I get my hair and nails done before going over to buy a few items. I request an uber knowing that Samkelo's still at work, and I don't really want to bother him. I get into the house, placing my things on the table, heading up to his room. I pause upon hearing his voice.

"Uqinisekile ukuthi nguye?" I hear him say into the phone. "Ngizokhuluma naye" He hangs up. "Aren't you supposed to be at work?" I make my presence known.

"Umuhle, Themba lami, uyakwazi lokho?" He wraps his arms around me. I blush looking away from him but then I realise what he's trying to do. "I asked you a question" I slightly pull away from him.

I frown, taking a closer look at his collar. "Why do you have blood on you?!" I take a step back. "Naledi..." He trails off. "Nkarabe marn Samkelo!" I almost shout, he looks at me unfazed. "Don't use that tone with me, I'm not your friend"

He walks past me and into the bathroom, my feet carry me to the bed and I sit down, biting the inside of my cheek. I pull out my phone, placing it against my ear.

Ona:
Mosadi?

Me:
O-Ona...

Ona:
Minnie, ke eng? Why are you crying? Nkarabe nwana ko gae.

Me:
O ko kae?

Ona:
I'm on my way back to Western Cape, ankere wena o re you also went back. I'll be there in a few hours.

Me:
I'm not in Western Cape, I lied.

Ona:
Then where are you Minnie?

Me:
Wait, I'll call you later. Kea go rata neh?

I quickly put my phone away. "Who was that?" He walks back into the room with a change of clothes. "Mhm?" I clear my throat. "I'm not going to repeat myself"

"I was speaking to Ona" I mumble, not wanting to meet his gaze. "Themba lami" He softly calls out. "Can you take me home" I painfully swallow. He remains silent and sites down next to me. "Ngiyaxolisa" He grabs onto both my hands.

I keep my gaze away from him. "Naledi" He pulls me up on his lap. "Why do you keep on playing with my feelings? Huh?" I pull my hands away from him. "Kodwa ngithe ngiyaxolisa" He pecks my lips.

"It doesn't change the fact that you're deliberately hurting me" I point at his chest. He silences me by placing his lips on mine. I find myself kissing him back, wrapping my arms around his neck.

His hand inches up my skirt so I pull away. "I'm working tonight so we can't" He groans in response. "Just one round?" I raise an eyebrow at him. "Ha-eh you also know that you get carried away and one round turns into much more" I try getting off of his lap.

"I told you to call me when you're done" He pulls me back down on his lap.  "I didn't agree to anything" I bury my head into his neck, groaning as he slips my undergarment off.

I wince, placing my lips on his. He grins into my lips and I find myself giving into him.

One round won't kill anyone right?
