Lisa kept swinging her leg next to me in the car, I bit my lower lip looking at her serious expression.

I had given up trying to get anything out of her, Lisa simply wouldn't talk to me about how she felt about starting treatment, we were going to her first appointment with the psychiatrist, so far she was fulfilling what she promised.

I would leave her at the hospital since I couldn't go in and I would go to work afterwards, I had gone back to my old job, there was no way I could refuse, Lisa wasn't working yet and I needed to pay for her treatment and the apartment payments.

The company I worked for paid very well, and finding a salary equal to theirs in the market was very difficult, needless to say that Lisa hated the idea, we had a big argument because of it, she got very nervous and almost broke the bedroom door so hard that he hit her to get out of the house and run.

I took a deep breath before driving back to work, things had improved a lot there, Suzy hadn't been to the company since what happened in my office, Liam told me this in surprise, everyone already knew the mess that had happened, after all Lisa left there bleeding and I'm crying.

I couldn't deny that it was difficult to return to the company after everything, but I didn't intend to stay there for long, I would just organize the things I had to pay for and worry about someone else.

I left my things on the table and realized that I had arrived a few minutes early, I decided to have a coffee and went to the still empty cafeteria.

There was a huge variety of fruits, breads, juices, teas and coffee, everything we could eat.

I grabbed some fruit and a croissant, then poured myself a glass of juice and sat down at the table.
