Oneshot- 9, Part Five
MARRIED NAMJIN AU
Words: 9540The past month was the worst period of Namjoon's life.
He had no idea how he even managed to survive, and thinking of how his fragile angel suffered like this for more months because of him and how much pain he'd felt, Namjoon had cried several times and cursed himself. He felt like dying, but he also knew that Seokjin wasn't punishing him to do that, so he stayed strong for him. For them.
Maybe it was because he knew that if he worked hard enough, his husband would accept him back that he managed to pull through. Namjoon was really living for Seokjin replying to his daily texts, no matter how cold or short they were. He was still talking to him, and that's what mattered!
Today, when Seokjin told him to take him to a date, Namjoon was shaking so much with pleasant shock that his phone nearly dropped to the floor from his trembling hands. He'd managed to catch it in time, and replied to him, feverish and jittery.
As Namjoon ended the calls about the cancelling of meetings for the day and postponing it for tomorrow, he was smiling like a fool. Finally!
Namjoon already had so many plans and ideas to make it a memorable and happy day for his love.
A candlelit dinner under the open starry evening sky, in the rooftop of a fancy hotel overlooking the horizon of the city, sipping wine together and being lost in each other's eyes, hands creeping over to intertwine...
Humming to himself in approval, he booked the room at the rooftop of the famous Persona Hotel for the whole night online, before calling Lee to pick him up and drive him to the Kims' Mansion.
Namjoon really did put Seokjin as his first priority. Always. Work would've never put an affect to their relationship, because Seokjin mattered more to him than his work and money. Even when he was ignoring and neglecting Seokjin because of his own insecurities, he never was really busy to not give his husband time. He just lied about work to give him an excuse of his avoidance.
And all the harsh words he said along the months? He only said them because he was hurt to think Seokjin could be unfaithful to him so easily. Sure Namjoon wanted to show him he didn't care as well, no matter how much it secretly pained him immensely. But nothing compared to the pain he felt knowing that he'd hurt his innocent husband without even talking to him.
Namjoon took a steamy bath when he returned home, had some tea before getting ready. He dressed in Seokjin's favorite black shirt, some simple white dress pants, sprayed on a tiny bit of cologne because he knew Seokjin liked it, and gathered his longer locks of raven hair to tie it in a ponytail.
