"New beginnings are often disguised as painful endings."

The echoes of screams were heard faintly outside the huge wall of the chamber, where stood the entire team of archeologists, and they wondered where the girl had gone. Richard seemed worried to find out Susan was gone when he clearly told her to wait for the team to arrive. At first, they thought it was just a prank to scare them, but after hours of searching, Susan wasn't spotted anywhere in the camp.

"Where did she go? There were no other exits present to leave the camp. I hope this won't be a silky prank, Richard. If any life is in danger, this entire research program will be banned, and you will be behind bars." The senior archeologist, Dr Reinhart glared at Richard for numerous seconds.

"If I had known where that girl went, I wouldn't have created a scene here. She is nowhere to be found, and I am worried now. It's been more than six hours. I am sure this is no prank, but that girl could be in danger. We need to find her." Richard claims after knowing the consequences of his actions. He regretted leaving Susan behind for a while and now everything he had achieved would go in vain.

"What do you suggest? I have sent a team behind her, but if this rumor gets outside this camp, we will all be banned in this country, yet talk alone, achieving the title of discovering the secrets of Mitamia." Dr Reinhart was annoyed and dismissed Richard to attend to important issues apart from the missing girl.

"Sir, her family had called her phone many times and I had no courage to make the call." A student approached Richard, handing him Susan's mobile phone.

There was no way a girl would be leaving her phone behind and missing for long hours. There was definitely something shady behind the shadows and all that all took him back to the wall where Susan discovered Patra's portrait.

His eyes didn't leave the portrait, and it was awkward to notice that those red eyes Patra had in the portrait glared back at him.

"Susan, where are you?" He talked to himself.

With a loud scream, Susan crawled back, but the poor girl couldn't make it before the mummy got her hands on her.

"Leaving already? The feast hasn't started yet." The mummy whispered in her ears and Susan cried with hot tears pouring down like rain after drought.

"Please, forgive me for waking you up. I am begging you to let me go. I won't spill a bean outside." Susan was begging on her knees.

The mummy went to the casket and sat upon it like a Queen, glaring at the girl with her fierce red eyes.

"I never let my guests leave with empty stomachs. How about a little celebration for my resuscitation?" The mummy appeared thrilled and got down from the casket.

Susan was convulsing due to the extreme emotional trauma she had. Death was coming back to life in front of her eyes. She never imagined that in her wildest dream.

"Are you really the Queen?" She asked when she noticed how the mummy danced around her chamber.

The Queen stopped and glared at the girl, she tilted her head to the side and chuckled lightly.

"Do you have any doubt, love? Oh! Now I understand why you said so. I look horrible, even though I used to look terrible before, now I am a mummy. A dead person who had been betrayed by his love. I needed to be loved but received a betrayal that cost me my life." The Queen appeared depressed and Susan thought of escaping the place, but then she realized there was no escape but pleading with the Queen to spare her life.
