One sided...(LiuXhanahakiReader)

"Come on why not just tell him!" Ben exclaims to y/n while shaking her by her shoulders. Once he's done shaking her the girl calms her pounding head. "Maybe i should... fine. I'll do it." Y/n says unsurely but theres no turning back now. "Alright good!" Ben pulls y/n off the couch and pushes her towards the stairs. "Go confess!" 

—timeskip— 

Y/n had been preparing herself to confess and she was finally ready so she began walking towards Liu's room and yes... its Liu the person that everybody least expected y/n to have a crush on, but i guess love is crazy. She gets to the door and is about to knock until.

"Liu... i-i love you..." a familiar voice says from inside. "I love you too Nina..." Liu says back making y/n's heart break into a thousand little peices. (I dont ship liu and Nina its just the first person I thought of...😅)

Y/n feels the tears forming in her eyes as she runs back to her room passing Ben and everybody else. Everybody looks at her... tears? She's never cried in front of anybody hell she probably doesn't cry at all... but tears... in y/n's eyes... what did he do to make her cry actual fucking tears...

Y/n's door slams shut and everybody just stares at the locked door in shock and then Jeff mutters a few words making everybody turn to him. "I'm gonna kill him if he hurt her." He mumbles. "Let me go check on her..." Ben mumbles as he walks up to y/n's door.

He knocks but doesnt get a reply. Ke knocks again but all he hears is coughing and the sounds of quiet sobbing from inside the room. But coughs? That's weird...

—y/n's pov—

As soon as i got into my room i felt something in my lungs making my breathing hitch. "What the fuck..." i choke out. I cough a few times and then rose petals fall from my mouth. Oh no. Oh fuck... I should've known this would happen... unrequited love... it leads to this. The hanahaki disease. The person usually dies in about 2 months... that's enough time to spend with everybody... hopefully.                                                                                                                                                                                  I hear a knock at my door and try to speak but i just cough and cough and cough... and cough some more about 12 rose petals falling to the ground. I hear another knock. "C-come in..." i throws the rose petals in the trash and then sit on my bed as Ben comes into my room. "You okay?" He asks softly, closing the door and sitting on my bed. He hugs me softly. "He's... he's dating Nina now..." i mumble quietly.

I hear him gasp softly. "Nina?" He questions and i nod. "That bitch..." he growls. Should i tell him... i think to myself. I probably should... "i have to tell you something..." he looks at me concerned. "What is it?" I sigh. "I have hanahaki." His eyes widen and i can see the bloody tears forming in his eyes. "N-no..." i hug him. "I-im sorry..." he sobs into my shoulder. 

—time skip 1 month later—

I have had the hanahaki for a whole month now and it's getting bad... I'm coughing up whole flowers and the thorns tear at my throat everytime. The pain is unbearable. Everybody is worried for me because I haven't come out of my room for the past month. I go back into a coughing fit and feel a flower coming up... i wince in pain and pull the flower out. "Fucking bitch ass motherfucker..." i do that thing where you say random cuss words when you get hurt. I hear Ben coming to my room. "Hey y/n i go- omg!!!" He sees the blood running out of my mouth. "I'm okay..." i mumble. He walks over and wipes the blood off my chin and mouth with a napkin. "I now it hurts but you gotta eat... here i got you soup..." 

He feeds me and then i go to sleep.

—timeskip another month—

—Ben's pov—

It's been 2 months... i know y/n doesnt have much time left and im scared to loose her... anybody else would be fine, but my friend... y/n, I can't loose her. She's like my other half... if i loose her ill be like an incomplete puzzle... but i know theres nothing i can do to stop it...

I walk into her room to see her coughing up a bunch of roses. I run to her side and rub her back trying to comfort her and help her through it. But it doesnt stop... oh no. No... not today... please... i need her... please. "Y-y/n its o-okay... you'll be okay..." she keeps coughing up blood and rose petals. I hear people running upstairs to see what's wrong. The first person here is Jeff... he stares at y/n in disbelief. Then everybody else comes in... including liu... he looks at her with sadness and disbelief. "Y-y/n..." he mumbles. "Who... who do you love?" He asks. She just looks at him with a sad smile. 

She mumbles something and everybody seems confused, not hearing what she said. "You... it's you liu..." she chokes out. He stares at her wide eyed. I can see the guilt and sadness in his eyes. I see Nina's eyes flash with rage and jealousy but also a bit of... sadness? "Th... this is my fault...?" He asks. "No it's mine. I fell head over heels for you... first and last love... forever in my heart." She coughs. But this time it doesnt stop and i see the multiple flowers coming out of her mouth along with the lots of blood. 

Everybody stares at her as she coughs up multiple roses and a lot of blood before falling unconcious... i catch her before she can fall off the bed and then sit her up before seeing she's not breathing. I feel my heart stop. "No... n-no... y/n... NO... please!!! Y/n you can't leave me!" I feel the tears fall from my eyes. She's gone... no she can't be... please just be a nightmare... i try to bring her back. I try everything but nothing works... 

"Y-you..." i look at liu and he looks at me confused. "You did this! You broke her heart and gave er this stupid disease! You took my best friend!!! I will NEVER forgive you." I exclaim before glitching a lot. The tears running down my face. My glitching doesnt stop and i just stay on the floor crying and glitching. 

—liu's pov—

"Y-you..." i look at ben confused and he looks at me crying and enraged. "You did this! You broke her heart and gave er this stupid disease! You took my best friend!!! I will NEVER forgive you." He yells at me. It is my fault... it's my fault she's gone. She loved me and i was to stupid to realize... 

I feel the emotions wash over me like a tsunami. The sadness, the guilt, and the anger i felt towards myself. I look at y/n's body. Her beautiful lifeless body surrounded in roses, still growing from her lungs and wrapping around her. 

"It is..."

"It is my fault."
