Fated Alphas

I hear Jisung howl from our Western boarder, a straight shot from my balcony. My head snaps up and I leap over the rail, shifting in the process, white paws hitting the ground. I hear someone hit the ground behind me. I assume it is Yoongi but I don't look, taking off toward my cousin.

When I open the pack link I'm flooded with images of two vamps running through the trees just along the boarder, not able to cross the other side because Choi wolves are there, waiting for one of them to even try crossing. I have half a mind to be mad at Jisung for being on patrol, but that will be dealt with later.

'That's the one that warned us.' Yoongi growls through our separate link.

'So the male must be her boyfriend and the one orchestrating all of this.'

'Chaeyeon what are you doing! Go back to the house!' Chanyeol's voice sounds through the link.

I growl at him 'I could say the same to you!'

I can only assume he rolled his eyes at me because that's what he does, but he doesn't argue any further.

The three of us catch up to Jisung and the two vampires. The male looks over his shoulder and smirks at me, tauntingly. I growl and push myself a little harder, getting closer and snapping my jaws at him, almost catching his foot.

'Leave the female if she doesn't attack, I just want this one.'

Everyone just voices their acknowledgement of my order, no one questions me or argues.

I open my link to the Choi wolves across the boarder and tell them that if the two cross over I want them both alive if it can be managed. A second later Minho's voice is heard through the open link, ordering his pack to listen to me. We chase the two for what feels like miles, eventually hitting the end of the boarder with the Choi's and picking up on our boarder with the Jung pack. I think for a second that the two might jump the river that separates our land and the Jung land, but Hoseok, his cousin and several other wolves were already waiting, running along their boarder, meaning there is no gap open for the vampires to try jumping the river.

I can feel myself getting tired and the male keeps taunting us, slowing down and letting us get close, only to speed back up right as we almost have him. Jisung, at one point, managed to actually grab ahold of him, but with one swift punch the male was free. Eventually we start to reach the southern boarder and just at the end of our boarder with the Jung pack, the female finds a gap and makes the jump, the male following her a few seconds later.

We slow to a stop, the Jung's doing the same. I nod to Hoseok's cream colored wolf and he nods back before he and his wolves trot off.

'We'll get them eventually.' Yoongi reassures me.

'I almost had the bastard!' I huff, angry that they managed to get away.

'Alpha, he was toying with us. But we'll get him.' Jisung tries

I turn my wolf body around to face my younger cousin 'What in the hell were you doing out here in the first place?! Running patrol with no partner! I made myself very clear when I said heirs to this pack were not to be alone.' I bare my teeth at him

Jisung whimpers and lowers his head 'I'm sorry Alpha.'

'Chae, he was technically assigned to patrol. I told him not to run it alone, but I didn't take him off because I didn't want him to get stir crazy.' Chanyeol tries to come to his defense.

I growl at him 'Do you two have any idea how it makes me look for you to not follow a simple order?! Especially you Chanyeol. You are my patrol leader first, my cousin second. It doesn't look good to have my patrol leader and members of my own family deliberately disobey direct orders!'
