A New Legacy

( It has been a couple of years since the fight to protect the earth from the forces of  Darkside and then the unification of the Justice League. Since then, things have been somewhat peaceful for the heroes. One among them had even built herself a life. A life, that she would soon lose)

" ( Looks down at her baby girl, while holding her in her arms). She's such a beautiful girl,  I can't wait to show her all there is to being a amazon. While you show her all there is to being a Saiyan." Said Diana as her mother walked over to them. " She will make a great warrior one day. But I fear that she will not be safe here. Especially with how you of your heroic teammates are a Green Lantern and a Thanagerian. Two races that hate Saiyans and won't even listen when good Saiyans say that they want to help. Let alone the Martian and his mind-reading abilities. My mother made sure that they feared us. The Thangerians tried to wage war with us. When those of us wanted to help them fight against my mother, they attacked us as well. The Green Lantern guardians are senile old fools who wouldn't even listen when we told them to stay the heck out of our war. So, when one of my allies had enough of the green lanterns attacking us good saiyans for no reason. She made sure to kill an army of them. So you know, if your two human green lanterns hear or even know about her. They will try to capture and imprison her." Said the male saiyan.

" He speaks the truth Diana, our people are the only ones that have had any positive relations with saiyans. It's one of the reasons why I allowed him to lie on our island. ( Takes the baby from  Diana and then casts a small spell on her. Which changes her look and her hair from short and spikey to smooth and wavey). There, this spell will help keep her hidden from those who would seek her out. The only one who can break this spell is herself when she truly needs it, or one of you. I know that there are powerful magic users Diana. That is why this spell is laced with both of your blood. ( Takes the baby and then holds her in her arms). To think that for the first time ever, we amazons would be able to reunite with our long-time allies the saiyans. Which would lead to a young one, that is a fusion of both our warrior races. I also implemented some fighting styles into the spell. Wouldn't want her to unlock the spell and not know how to use some of her power. ( Hands the baby to Derek and then watches him float into the air while holding the baby). Please, find a family that will raise her right. I know you can't be around her, so stay safe Derek. Your father was a good friend of mine." Said Hippolyta as she watched Derek nod his head and then fly off into the sky.

" ( Looks at her mother). When the time comes, I will have a choice to make. Will I support my friends or my family" Said Diana as she pressed a button on a device that teleported her to the Watchtower. " For this family Diana, I pray that you make the right choice." Said  Hippolyta as she headed back to her throne room.

( Aboard the Watchtower)

"  ( Walks through the Watchtower while talking to Dinah. Then notices Diana appear on the teleporter hub). Hey Diana, house spending time with your people, do anything interesting? "Asked  Shiara. " ( Looks at Shiara and Dinah then looks away and walks toward her room as she feels the memory of her daughter disappear. Leaving only the memories of her fights with Derek). Not anything that you could count as interesting. All we did was spar, hunt, and mingle. Now if you'll excuse me." Said Diana in an abrupt tone which caught Batman, Superman, Martain Manhunter, and John Stewert by surprise. As they were just leaving the meeting room. 

" ( Looks at Shiara confused). Um, did we miss something here? What's wrong with Diana?" Asked John. " We don't know, she just got back from spending time with her family." Said Dinah. " ( Looks in Diana's direction with a glare). Thats not like her, she's usually very open about her time with her family." Said Batman. " You don't think something went wrong do you?" Asked Superman. " Whatever it is, we'll only be able to send a female team if that's the case." Said  Martain Manhunter.

" ( Walks into her room and then locks the door). Just you wait Derek, I promise you. I will win our next fight." Said Diana as tears fell down from her face.
