1.)

Lee stepped over to where El had been when she had changed. She picked up the glinting chain from the ground with the saxophone charm on it and looked at it for a moment. So shiny, and Lee bet it held many memories. She slipped it into her left pocket and she drew her cell phone out. She typed in the number almost reluctantly. The poor girl. She had gone through so much. And that was nothing compared to what was going to happen next. What Dante and his crew had promised to do.

Their shadow reached all around the world and millions of people, and abnormals, were waiting for the word. Waiting to reveal themselves to the planet.

Lee rubbed her brow as Sfin looked regretfully at the section of woods where the group had passed into. He had pretty much been there for all of the young Hunters lives (except El, though he still felt a strong fatherly connection toward her.)

He had bandaged The young Hunters wounds since they were old enough to fight. So, from around six years old. The big German rubbed at the tears forming in the corners of his eyes, forlorn that he wouldn't be able to be there with the young adults through this trying trial. He wished he had reacted faster. That he could've stopped them from following that demon. That demon whom he knew Dante had sent. Sent to lure them into a trap.

Lee held the phone to her ear as the being on the other end picked up on the first ring. "Roanoke 23624," she said, as was their password.

"Yes?" The person asked emotionlessly.

"It has begun, the girl is out of my hands. There is nothing further I can do. I am sorry Vincent," Lee's voice was sad. She too had developed a strange connection with El.

"I understand, good luck Lee," the vampire said and hung up.

2.)

Logan raced through the woods, trying to be discreet while moving swiftly, jumping over fallen trees, running through brambles, tripping over small shrubbery.

The rest of The Hunters remained beside him, keeping pace easily. "Something's not right," Dillan said breathlessly from his left.

"Yeah," Luke added on Logans other side, "When we went to get Lee and...Sfin...They seemed sad as if...they had known...as if...something worse...is...happening." Luke said, pausing in between words for breath.

Logan glanced over at Amy who nodded. No one mentioned the look they had all seen in El's eyes. They didn't waste the words. They all understood that words would do nothing. They were going to help her no matter what. She was part of their group now for better or for worse. She had merged her way smoothly into their group like a car on the interstate.

El, with her tacky band jokes and her tanned shoulders and brilliant eyes. Her wonderful attitude and capacity to withstand so much at one time.

Logans breath stuttered in his chest and he stumbled and fell. The others stopped to go back and help him up.

"Wait, " He hissed quietly, halfway up, "Do you hear that?"

Everyone paused in what they were doing and listened. Soon they all heard it. The unmistakeable sound of a werewolf. Specificly an angry werewolf.
