Layla Eliyas stood on the sidelines. Eyes straying afar, collecting simple fragments of what everyone else does. she avoided trouble that way. Never taking direct action, unlike everyone around her.
Everyone around her who adored her endlessly, who's heart found comfort within the softness of her touch — to which she gladly gave out. to almost anyone except miguel diaz.
All he could hear about was how incredible her company is; from students in miyagi do, all the way to those in cobra kai. He'd wanted to be her friend, but a harsh realisation struck him when he'd found out that she could not stand him. not the way he spoke, nor the way he behaved; he was everything she had ever disliked.
But Miguel was adamant on becoming the friend she deserves — to prove her wrong, even if he broke his own heart in the process.
