A loud voice could be heard, even with Mella covering her ears. "SANS!" Mella uncovered her ears, now hearing Sans talk. "sup, bro?" The loud voice spoke once more, causing Mella to sigh quietly as she had to deal with it. "YOU KNOW WHAT'S "SUP", BROTHER! IT HAS BEEN EIGHT DAYS AND YOU STILL. HAVEN'T. RE-CALIBRATED. YOUR. PUZZLES!" Mella tilted her head. 'So Toriel was right..I guess puzzles really are popular down here..'
She snapped out of her thoughts when she heard loud, muffled stomping. She shivered, getting slight flashbacks to a dark moment in her childhood. She shook her head, not wanting to remember any more of it. She peaked out from behind the station to see Sans with another skeleton monster, this one being noticeably taller than him.
They, or he, assuming by how the voice sounded, wore a strange battle-like outfit, with a red scarf(or maybe it's a cape?) and red boots. The skeleton seemed to be ranting about something unimportant, and then he left. She looked at Sans and was met with two eye sockets staring back at her. She flinched then relaxed as Sans made a motion for her to come out. She walked over, although hesitant.
"welp. that was my bro, papyrus. pretty cool guy, right?" Mella nodded, getting a sense that if she did anything other than agree, she wouldn't like the outcome. Sans' permanent smile seemed to grow slightly wider.
"by the way, can you do me a favor?" Mella couldn't even respond before Sans began talking again. "you see, my brother's been feeling down lately. he's never seen a human before, and seeing you might just make his day." Sans seemed to notice Mella's hesitation. "don't worry, he's not dangerous. even if he tries to be." Mella thought for a while before answering with an "Okay."

After Sans had left, Mella continued down the path in the snow, shivering slightly. She had left her jacket at home, so she only had her sweater keeping her warm. She wrapped her arms around herself. She had to find a town before she completely froze from the cold.
Mella suddenly felt a pair of eyes watching her. She flinched, her body freezing up in fear. When did this place feel so. . .creepy? What's going on? Everything suddenly began to twist and turn. Mella started hyperventilating, panicking and looking around to try and understand what was going on. She wanted to throw up.
She smelled blood. There was a familiar figure in the distance. Suddenly, she was face to face with her sister. Her face was horrifying to look at. It looked to be melting a bit, and she reeked of death. Mella fell backwards, her heart racing. Her sister grabbed her by the throat.
"ɪᴛ's ᴀʟʟ. . .ʏOUR. . .F̸A̸U̸L̸T̸" Her sister let out a loud scream, causing Mella to cover her ears. She quickly shut her eyes, only opening them once more when the terrible feeling was gone. It was silent. She got up, shaking. "What...what just happened..?" Mella mumbled to herself. She quickly got back to following the trail in the snow. She just had to get to shelter. She began to walk faster, eventually running through the snow.

Sans was chatting with Papyrus, waiting for the human to arrive. He had a strange feeling about her. Something didn't sit right with him, but he had no idea what it was. He shook his head, feeling too lazy to continue questioning. He then noticed a familiar black-haired figure in the distance.
The human came into view, and she looked so cold. Papyrus noticed Sans wasn't paying attention, and so he turned to see what he was looking at. There stood a black-haired...thing. He didn't quite know what it was...until a thought clicked in. Papyrus let out an excited gasp as he turned to look at his shorter brother. "SANS! IS THAT A HUMAN?" Sans responded, "nah, bro. I think that's a rock." The human looked behind herself in confusion, noticing the rock lying on the ground behind her. Papyrus frowned. "OH."
"hey, but what's that in front of the rock?" Sans said, causing Papyrus to gasp once more. "IS-...IS THAT A HUMAN?" Papyrus whispered to Sans, although it was too loud to even be considered as whispering. Sans nodded, which left Papyrus practically jumping up and down like a little child.
"SANS! I FOUND A HUMAN! I-" The human suddenly collapsed, causing Sans to flinch and Papyrus to freak out. "OH NO! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE HUMAN?" "uh, i think it got too cold." "HURRY! WE MUST HELP THE HUMAN RECOVER! THEN I SHALL CAPTURE IT!" "got it, bro."
