WELCOME TO... "OVERDRIVE"

Time for me to switch gears (pun intended) & write something F1 related!

A few disclaimers before we get into it.

There will be use of mature language and sexual content, as well as mentions of sensitive subjects such as drinking, substance abuse, health issues, mental health and illnesses. The beginning of every chapter will always try to highlight any trigger warnings, but if this is not comfortable for you please tread lightly.

This book is one hundred percent original from start to finish. Any similarities to existing Formula 1 books out there are purely coincidental – it's very easy for there to be similar elements across F1 books!

Most importantly, this is a work of fiction. While it's set in the world of F1 and uses multiple real individuals in its plot, in no way is what I write a reflection of them as people.

This book starts with and follows the 2022 season & grid. However, I will not be backtracking and writing out grand prix races how they happened – I'm changing it up according to whatever I want because its fiction & my book, if I want to be delusional and have consistent Ferrari wins, I will! To add, I will try my absolute best to be as technical and specific as possible when it comes to descriptive writing in F1... but I'm just a girl and sometimes its all a little too much for little Lando Norris so bare with me.

Warning 1: I deadass speak no European languages so translation tools will be used, but I understand how off they can be so correct anything (nicely) in the comments!

Warning 2: There will be slow updates in this book.
