They'd been driving for approximately 47 minutes, and Hyunjin and Felix were still going on and on about philosophy and physics and god knows what else.

Jisung was honestly just impressed. He was happy that Hyunjin had gotten comfortable enough to discuss those topics so freely and willingly with Felix, even coming as a surprise to him, who was literally trying in all his might to get them closer to eachother.

He knew them both, granted, he knew Hyunjin better, well, as best as he could, but he was quite familiar with Felix aswell, and the things he knew for certain about the two, end up matching perfectly.

The bag of snacks Minho had brought them for breakfast had been emptied, mostly by Jisung and Felix.

In fact, entirely by Jisung and Felix.

On multiple occasions, both of them offered Hyunjin something from the bag, but he turned them down immediately, refusing to take any of the food under the excuse of 'not being hungry so early in the morning'.

However, he did steal one of the pretzels out of Jisungs pack, after seeing Felix do the same, so Jisung spent the next 5 minutes sulking over his now 46 pretzels.

Hyunjin told Felix everything he wanted to know about Greek philosophy, claiming it to have been all knowledge from school, and he remembers it so well because he has good memory.

Now, did Felix believe this? No

They didn't teach that level of stuff in high school, at least not their school. They're in the same history class, Felix coming to discover that not even a week ago, and not a word about Ancient Greek philosophy has been spoken in that class.

Did he say anything about it? Again, no.

He just listened, completely fascinated by the level of detail Hyunjin could go into when he would talk about it.

Truth be told, he's never had much of an opinion on philosophy, the only time he's heard anything about it being via YouTube or a Netflix documentary. He found the topic interesting, but he never found himself engrossed in one of those videos. They sounded bland, the voice of the narrator having no passion behind it whatsoever, it bored him, made him feel like he was being forced to listen to a teacher who really hates their job drawl on and on about the topic like a lifeless zombie, no emotion, no feelings.

But Hyunjin?

Holy fuck.

It was like listening to the best podcast to ever bless his ears and mind. He learned more in that roughly 45 minute conversation than he has in his past 4 school years.

His voice sounded like a picture of a white marble pillar, a string of vines wrapped around it and a waterfall cascading down perfectly carved stone next to it, instead of the murmur he usually leaned towards in terms of talking.

It was like the topic suddenly sprung him to life, as if he'd willingly dedicate his entire lifespan to adapting and teaching normal people the wonders of ancient discovery, adding more and more knowledge into every sentence he speaks.

In short? Hearing the guy speak so animatedly and passionately about something so astonishing felt like he was listening first hand to a fairytale.

"Sorry to cut your lecture short, but I'm afraid we've arrived, got everything you need?" Jisung cut in, a genuine smile practically stuck on his face as he rested both his hands on his friends shoulders, shaking them lightly.

Hyunjins voice stopped abruptly, his mind breaking out of his trance. He coughed slightly, and nodded his head, back to that same quiet aura that surrounded him.
