Mind Games

Liam, Andy and Gem all sat around the coffee table in Andy's luxurious hotel room, Liam was sitting on a leather chair in front of Gem and Andy who sat in the same couch. The men were in deep conversation about this up and coming tour and how to conquer nerves.

"It's all right for you Liam! You've been in Oasis from the start. Gem and me haven't, this is our first big tour, you know that!"

Andy whined, he was the most nervous of all, always rushing to the bathroom before performing and relying on the other members (Particularly Gem.) to be there, comforting him.

"Well, you two need to take a note from Noel's book y'know. He's never nervous, never has been either."

Liam took a puff from his cigarette, sitting back in his leather chair, enjoying the pride and feeling of being 'Godlike'.

"Whatever Liam, that's different."

Andy snapped. He'd never been one to cower away from Liam. Being a similar age to him probably helped, as well as having a surprisingly similar mind set.

"What would it take to scare him anyway?"

Gem asked, taking a sip from his glass of water.

"I don't know."

Andy shrugged. Liam smirked, though, giggling to himself.

"What is it?"

Gem asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Ha ha, I know what would freak him out."

Liam smiled, slyly, at his band mates.

"Come on then, tell us! We'll do it when he walks in, give him a fright."

Andy beamed, nudging Gem.

"Yeah tell us! it's getting boring we got nothing to do but sit around and puff a cigarette."

Gem said and Gem's eyes lit up, the thought of actually seeing Noel, 'The Chief', being freaked out made him laugh.

"You two promise that you'll do it?"

Liam asked, taking another puff from his cigarette.

"Yes!"

The band mates said in union.

"Alrighty then,"

Liam sat up, putting his cigarette out, Andy and Gem sitting on the edge of the sofa like excited little children.

"The one thing that would freak Noel out a bit, coming from me, would be if you two pretended to be a couple."

Liam laughed out loud once again, barely being able to get his words out. Andy and Gem look at each other with both expretion of their face, they were both disgusted by the idea.

"For fuck's sake Liam! You just want an evil laugh for yourself don't you?"

Andy crossed his arms.

"No, no! That would scare him, or at least make him cringe a bit. Come on, I thought you two liked a bit fun and a laugh...Obviously I was wrong."

Liam made sure to pause in the right place for emphasis, he'd become very good at manipulating people like that recently.

"am I the only one who'd like to have a nice laugh?"

Liam sat back, faking a sigh. Gem and Andy glanced at each other, Gem shrugged and Andy gave a nod.

"Fine!"

Andy threw his arms up in the air.

"Ah! Get in man!"

Liam shouted out, fist pumping the air, he'd been waiting for something good to happen for a long time.
