Forever: A KOTLC Sleepover Short Story

Chapter 1- Sophie POV

BZZZZTT. BZZT. BZZT. Ugh. why this early... I thought, while I reached my arm out to pick up my imparter, with my face still smashed in the pillows.

The screen read: Incoming hail Biana Vacker. Accept?

I tapped yes, and Biana's face popped up on the screen.

"Hi Sophie!" She greeted. "We're having a sleepover Everglen tonight. Can you come?"

"Um, okay." I said, "But first, what time, and second, who's we?"

She giggled. " The sleepover starts at 5:30, but come at 5:00, it's gonna just us girls in that half hour!"

"And who's coming?" I asked.

"Ummm.." Biana thought for a second. " I think it's Dex, Marella, Tam, Wylie, Linh, Fitz, annnnddd... Keefe!"

I blushed. Keefe and I had gotten together about 3 weeks ago. 

Biana and Tam had gotten together a month ago, giving me a phenomenal chance to tease about it.

  "Did you hear that Dex and Marella got together?"

"No! I actually didn't. What happened?" I questioned, genuinely interested.

"Well long story short, Dex gave Marella a ring with a heart button on it. When she pressed it, It burst pastel-colored confetti and in hologram flames spelled out, will you go out with me?"

"When did this happen?", I grilled, slightly sad that Dex didn't tell me.

"Just last night, when Dex went over to Marella's house," Biana replied.

"That's so great!" I responded, "Who told you?"

"Wow, when did you get so intrested in gossip?" She joked.

"I just-" I started, preparing to defend myself.

"I'm kidding girl. Marella told me. She said that Dex tried to call you, but you didn't pick up."

"I was probably asleep." 

Now that the Neverseen's gone, I'm making up my beauty rest.

"I-" Biana started, "BANANNAAAAA," Fitz screamed in the background.

Biana whipped around and yelled back, "I TOLD YOU NOT TO CALL ME THAT!"

She turned back around to me and apologized in a sugary-sweet deadly tone, "Sorry about that. I'm sure you'll get details from Marella tonight." 

"Actually, probably in a hour." She added as a afterthought. "It's already 3:55 in the afternoon! And judging by the state you're in, you just woke up," She teased.

"Oh, and a word of advice, eat a light lunch. Mom's been cooking and baking like crazy, ever since I told her you guys are coming over," Biana advised.

"Bye!"

"Bye."

I hung up. 

Well, I guess it's time to get up. 

I sighed and heaved myself out of bed, almost knocking over Iggy's cage in the process.

Edaline came into my room, carrying a weird-looking pink pastry, with green goop inside of it.

"Oh good, you're awake. I was going to wake you up. Della told me that Biana was having a sleepover and would tell you, but I was afraid you would be asleep and wouldn't pick up your imparter."

"Oh, I picked up my imparter alright. After it woke me up," I grumbled.

" I'm sorry sweetie," she said sympathetically, "This is brunch for you If you're hungry," she informed me, as she set the tray on my nightstand. 

I glanced at the clock and groaned. 4:18. 

What? How did the time pass so quickly?

I threw on a red, ruffled, off-the-shoulder top from a shopping trip in Atlantis with Biana. I actually sort of liked it. I paired it with ripped skinny jeans and a white purse, gold hoops, gold neckace with a heart on it, and light brown boots with a slight heel. I pulled my hair back in a messy half up-half down bun. (Sophie's outfit up top) I did light gold eyeliner, ignored Vertina's comments, and checked the time. 4:53.

AGH! I internally screamed. 7 minutes! (This is literally me every morning for school lol)

I stuffed the weird pastry in my mouth(which tasted like the most delicious ham and cheese croissant) and raced up the stairs to the Leapmaster.

"Bye Mom! Bye Dad!" I yelled downstairs and then shouted, "Everglen!"(Does anyone else get harry potter vibes?)

As the light whisked me away, I thought, This is going to be a nice break from everything, right?

Hi! 807 words! I'm so proud of myself. I honestly don't know when I'll update next, because I don't have that much free time, I do gymnastics(lots and LOTS of gymnastics) and it takes a lot of time up.
