Alyssa was so confused. Cal had stopped talking to her and she had no idea why. She knew it had to be something to do with Iain and how they had hugged.

Alyssa knew it meant nothing. They were friends. And trying to move past what had happened. Alyssa knew she wanted to make things work with Cal.

But she had no idea what to do. She just wanted things to be okay. She felt as though she needed to explain to him that there was nothing going on with her and Iain.

Alyssa hated that Cal had stopped talking to her. They had a child together. And it was so hard for Alyssa to see her little girl looking around for her daddy.

It was so hard for her. And she just had no idea how to even cope with it. She missed things and how they all used to be. It had to somehow work out. Knowing that she hated the complicated mess of it all.

All she knew was that things were about to change. And she just needed to make it seem okay. Not just for her. But for Ella too.

Morning came, and she looked to see Ella as she toddled in. She smiled. "Daddy?" She asked.

"He's not here babes. But it's going to be okay. You've got mummy. She loves you," she told her as she picked her up and pulled her into her arms.

Ella nodded. She sighed and smiled. "Otay! I otay with that," she said as she giggled.

Alyssa looked to her. Knowing how hard things were. Knowing she just needed to make things okay. For the sake of her little girl. But she wasn't sure about it.

She just felt as though things were about to change completely. And she just had to somehow make it all okay. Knowing it wasn't.

Alyssa walked into work after taking the kids to daycare. She looked to see Bailee as she walked over. She smiled. "Hey. You okay?" She asked.

Alyssa shrugged and sighed. "I'm not sure. I just... I don't know. Cal and I were not talking. I don't know what it is. But I think he saw me and Iain hugging, nothing is going on with us. It was a friendly hug. And I'm just not wanting to deal with any crap," she told her.

Bailee smiled. "Iain told me he hugged you. We're friends again for Bella. You and Cal, you'll sort it. I know you will," she said as she smiled.

"You think?"

"Trust me. You and Cal have overcome so much. And I think you just need to explain to him how there's nothing going on with you and Iain," Bailee told her.

Alyssa sighed and nodded. Knowing she had to somehow sort it all out.

Alyssa walked over to Cal. She sighed and smiled. "Look, can we talk?" She asked as she looked to him.

Cal shook his head. "We don't need to talk. We're done. You want to go and mess around with Iain, carry on. But don't expect me to be okay with it."

Alyssa frowned and watched as he walked off. She was so confused about what was going on. But could she and Cal overcome it all yet again?
