July 16th marked the joyful occasion as we celebrated the nuptial ceremony in a private event hall my mom owned. The bride was my friend; a high school classmate. We reunited after a decade when I found out that we're both working for the same company pala and it turns out that she and our other friend stayed in contact after we graduated in senior high school. Kaya, we decided to have a small reunion to give me a chance to explain myself.

I am glad that I was able to explain my side. How I did not respond to any of their texts. How I disappeared after being so active on social media. It was really not my intention to suddenly break contact with them, pero there are times kasi where everything gets too complicated and too much for us to handle.

By the time na nag-graduate na kami sa senior high. I did not continue to study for college and graduated immediately. Although I was even blessed enough to start working as a website developer immediately right after I graduated in senior high since I have enough knowledge about them anyways. Plus, I have a connection from my relatives. So finding a job isn't really that much of a challenge. While my friend named Keam, who was the one celebrating her marriage, graduated in Business Management and my other friend whose name is Kate, who also had graduated in college and became a Police Woman.

I looked at the aisle from the altar as I stood together with my band since I was asked by her to sing during her wedding. When the little kids walked to the aisle, all of them threw wonderful smiles as well as some flowers as they made their way to the altar. The freshly picked flowers swirl with the air that gives the area a calming atmosphere, and a more magical vibes on it. As the little girls continued walking down the aisle coating the red carpet with their flowers all the bridesmaids lined up together with their partner behind the little girls to enter the hall by pair. When the flower girls finished their walk. Kate, who happened to be the first in the line glared at me and I smiled at her. What can I do, I need a substitute since I was asked to sing for the wedding.

I remembered when we were in our senior years, Keam, Kate and I often joked about being married to someone who is a billionaire and living a life without worrying about working at all, but who would have thought Keam would actually be marrying a rich man. A very very rich man. Who would have really thought na totohanin ni Keam 'yung mga joke namin dati and now, kaming dalawa na lang ni Kate and hindi pa kasal. However, Kate already has someone she wants to live with forever so it's only a matter of time before they decide na mag-settle na rin and I even happened to be one of the people along with Keam and her groom na kasama sa plano ng boyfriend ni Kate na mag-prepare para sa kaniyang proposal.

"I'll pay you next time!" I mouthed at her, she nodded after she got what I said.

After the bridesmaid walks with their partner. The door finally opens again and there she is. The bride is waiting at the entrance of the hall. Keam was wearing a very beautiful dress. It's like one of those dresses na madalas makikita sa mga movie. It is an off-shoulder dress, with a tight fit body and a floor length skirt. She's even dragging the dress behind her sa sobrang haba. Not to mention her veil too.

As the organizer gives us their signal. I put my hands on the keyboards and started playing. All witnesses stand up and look at the direction where the bride was standing. It is a shame that I wasn't able to look at her walking down the aisle because of the crowd so I focused on playing the song so that I won't mess up her epic entrance.

I am sitting with the piano in front of me on the right side of the altar together with my band playing some instrumentals as she was walking down the aisle. I couldn't help but smile at her as I saw her walking with her white dress and when she finally reached the stairs leading her to the altar.

The groom walked down a few steps before reaching out a hand for her. So very gentleman-like behavior. Kaya approved sa amin to eh. She grabbed his hands and then he guided her to his side in front of the priest. We stopped playing and the ceremony of the wedding began. After declaring their vows to each other, they exchanged rings and the priest finally announced them as Husband and Wife.
