In the wake of Nian and Gaya's incarceration, a sense of relief washed over us; the judge had handed down a 24-year sentence. It feels safer now, and hopefully, the darkness will not return.

What better way to celebrate this newfound peace than with pancakes? Their delightful taste brings comfort, especially when enjoyed next to a warm fireplace, wrapped in a cozy blanket.

To complement the meal, I decided to whip up a refreshing green smoothie, combining Granny Smith apples, Japanese cucumber, coconut water, celery, and spinach. Not only does it promise skin rejuvenation but also claims to banish acne.

However, the music show I eagerly anticipated at midnight had to be postponed. The lateness of the hour and an enveloping darkness foreshadowed the unexpected appearance of Nian and Gaya. Thus, the show was rescheduled to 19:00.

The realization dawned that today, not tomorrow, would be ideal for RPG activities. With Chinese New Year's Eve approaching, preparations for the celebration would take precedence over role-playing. This decision sparked enthusiasm, especially since it's been a while since I've teamed up for such adventures. My absence was due to an obligatory national test in Samoko, demanding my presence.

The evening's plan? A steamboat dinner, a communal feast symbolizing luck, prosperity, and health among other positive omens. As we indulged, we pondered over the zodiacs' preferences and aversions. Dragons, for instance, favor the numbers 1, 6, and 7 while steering clear of 2, 3, 8, and 9. Their preferred hues include gold, silver, and grayish white, with dragon flowers and bleeding heart vine being their lucky blooms.

Though not everyone participated, a select few formed two teams for the night's adventure. With no monsters to fear-thanks to their confinement-the only tools needed were flashlights and a zest for exploration.

Nestled in the heart of Hong Kong, The Doorooms Hotel stands as a bastion for those craving adventure. Its wooden aesthetics, from the corridors to the rooms, exude warmth. The lighting, calibrated to a comfortable 4000 Kelvin, occasionally spikes to an extreme 65 Celsius, challenging guests to adapt to sudden changes.

Spanning 30 rooms, the hotel ensures a level 2 safety rating, encouraging cautious exploration. The absence of monsters allows for a pure adventure and role-playing experience, inviting guests to immerse themselves in their crafted stories.

The hotel's layout is meticulously planned to offer a variety of experiences:
- Rooms 0 to 7: A warm welcome at the reception lobby followed by intriguing corridors.
- Rooms 8 to 11: The Maze challenges spatial awareness.
- Room 12: A swimming pool offers a refreshing escape.
- Room 14: The staircase connects different adventures.
- Rooms 15 to 18 and 19 to 20: More corridors lead to the library lobby and library, a haven for book lovers.
- Room 21: The shop provides souvenirs and essentials for the journey.
- Room 22: A drawing room encourages creativity.
- Rooms 23 to 26: A museum and secrets await discovery.
- Rooms 27 to 30: Provide a well-deserved break and a satisfying conclusion to the adventure.

With a mindful skip of room number 13 due to triskaidekaphobia, the hotel caters to a wide array of interests, from sketching to exploring, ensuring guests leave with cherished memories and stories to tell.

As the night unfolds with RPG adventures, avoiding gambling temptations becomes a priority. Shadow, ever the guardian, steers his friends towards healthier entertainment choices, underlining the evening's theme of camaraderie and mindful fun.
