Y/N's Pov
The full moon is in the sky and it is in the early morning hours. Aang was trying to get Appa to move, yanking on the reins, though the bison continually refused and sat down. Akemi and I are waiting in Appa's Saddle. While we waited, we focused our attention on the conversation Aang was having with Appa.
"Let's go, Appa! Come on, boy!" Aang said as struggled to get Appa to move. Appa roars in protest and sits down.
"Look I'm sorry, but Katara and Sokka aren't coming to the Fire Nation with us. "Aang said sadly he then looked down and away, sadly."If they got hurt, I'd never forgive myself."
"And if you got hurt because they weren't there they would never forgive themselves" I said to Aang causing him to stop and he looked regretful but he steeled himself. Barely.
"I am not going to let my friends get hurt because of me" Aang stated before he yanked on the reins again before continuing "And it's not like I'm going by myself. You two are coming with me."
"Oh so are we not your friends?" I said questioning him
"That's not what I meant" Aang said backpedaling
"Then why are we allowed?" Akemi asked as she finally joined the conversation
"Because You and Akemi said that you would explain this new news." Aang explained as he was still messing with reins
"No we said we would explain it to all of you as in; You, Katara and Sokka" I told him
"That's enough Appa now get your big butt off the ground and let's go!" Aang said as he was done with our conversation. He then jerks at the reins, stretching them out, but is flung to the ground when the ropes pull him back as Appa did not move a muscle. A forlorn look appeared on Aang's Face. He sat spread-legged on the ground.
"I think his big butt is trying to tell ya something." Said Sokka as Aang, Akemi and I turned to see him and Katara along with some of the villagers from Senlin.
"Please don't go Aang. The world can't afford to lose you to the Fire Nation. Neither can I." Katara said desperately
"But I have to talk to Avatar Roku to find out what my vision means! I need to get to the Fire Temple before the sun sets on the solstice. That's today!" Aang stated as he airbends himself atop Appa's head. As Appa stands up Katara and Sokka run to stand before the bison, preventing him from moving any further.
"We're not letting you go into the Fire Nation, Aang." Said Katara
"At least, not without us. We got your back." Sokka said. Momo soars up and perches atop Aang's shoulder, and Appa licks Sokka, who angrily looks at the bison.
"Ew!"
"It's a long journey to the Crescent Island. You'll have to fly fast to have any chance of making it before sundown. Good luck." said the Senlin Village leader as he Hands Aang a small bundle.
"Thank you for your-" Aang started
"Go!" The Senlin Village leader yelled as he Interrupted sharply as Points toward the ocean. It was a few minutes later that me and Akemi were discussing who would be explaining everything to the rest of the Gaang. I was able to convince Akemi to explain to them
"So what was it that you two wanted to tell us about?" Katara asked

"So let me get this straight, not only do we have to worry about the Fire Nation, but also a rogue spirit that is trying to unleash four monsters?" Sokka asked as he wanted confirmation
