Waking up, my body is completely on top of Bellamy's as he stirs awake.

"Hey," Bellamy says, looking down at me.

"Hey yourself."

"I had a great time last night." He says as he presses kisses against my temple.

"I know you did, I'm sure the whole ark does too." I joke and laugh as he pulls a face, then starts tickling me. "Ah! Bellamy! Stop it!" I laugh until it hurts, and then my laughing stops as his hands rest on my bare hips.

"I love you more than you can know, Ellie."

"I love you too, Bell." He brings my head down with his hand on the back of my neck, our lips meeting feverishly as our night's activities unfold once again this morning.

"Hey, I'll come by later, okay. I have something I want to talk to you about." Bellamy tells me as he kisses me goodbye, leaving me wondering what he wants to talk to me about.

The rest of my day goes by as per usual, I go to work, I don't enjoy work, I come home to an empty room, and then I see Bellamy. And today, I am extra intrigued to see Bellamy because that means this secret question that has been making me nervous all day will finally be answered. There is a knock on my door, and I am opening it almost too quickly as Bell sits down at the table, me following suit.

"Okay, so this is kind of a big deal, and I don't want you to freak out on me if you think it's really dumb." He tells me.

"Just spit it out, Bell." I am too impatient for this.

"I want to take Octavia to the masquerade ball." My mouth opens and closes in shock, I had really not expected that.

"What if she gets caught, Bellamy? You will blame yourself forever." I try and reason with him.

"I am just thinking about our conversation, about how I can't keep her under the floor forever, and I thought you might be right."

"This is not what I meant by that, Bell. I mean, do you seriously think you can pull this off?" I was going to have a hard time trying to talk him out of this now that his mind is already made up.

"Yes, Ellie. I will be right with her the whole time. She can have fun with kids her own age, and not feel like she is missing out. Again." He gives his reasons.

"Well, I support you if you really think you can do it. It's very thoughtful of you." I smile at him. He gets up and rounds the table before pressing a kiss to my forehead, and enveloping me in a tight hug. I love our hugs, his arms always make me feel so secure.

"Thank you for looking after me and my family. O told me you played Monopoly with her all day, it means a lot to all three of us that you do that for her. Plus, you coming over means I don't have to have 'girl talks' with my mother." He chuckles lightly, his chest rumbling and my face scratching against his shirt.

"I love your family, Bell. You know I never really had anything stable, and feeling like I have a family of my own is something I will be eternally grateful for." Tears well up in my eyes, but are gone before Bellamy would ever notice.

It's been a few days since Bellamy and I had our talk about the ball, and I offered to find Octavia the perfect mask. I would make it myself, but I was never given the chance to learn to sew. One of my old friends is one of the best seamstresses on the ark, so I asked her to make one for me that was rather full, not disclosing the fact its purpose would be to hide someone's face. I am supposed to pick it up today, and my excitement keeps building for O. I am really happy Bell decided to do this, and I feel a small amount of pride that I was a small part of the reason he chose to do it.
