Maria's POV
"You too, where did you get your dress from? You look amazing" Lily asks.
"From the storage I wore wrong clothes" I say feeling embarrassed.
"Okay" she says grabbing a plate. Lily knows about my evil family and ever since they she's always been there for me.
"You should leave, come live with me" she says out of the blue. She's been asking me to live with her for years,I just wish I could.
"Look if I could I would but you know why I can't" I say giving her a pointed look while trying to keep my emotions in check.
"Fine let's enjoy the night then" she says smiling and I know this conversation isn't over.
Spending the night with Lily has been one of the best night of my life at least I have her and luckily for me I've been able to sneak food out without getting caught,haha.
"Okay I'm done" I say to Lily as she hands me a bag. "What's this"? I ask
"It's for you,you can thank me later"she says as I open it to see a bunch of clothes,shoes,a watch and a thousand dollars.
"Lily....I can't thank you enough" I say as a tear drops.
"It's okay,I was planning on coming over but I can't come over without raising suspicion plus I'm banned but I'll sneak in in a few days so just hang on and here" she says handing me a power bank.
"I got a new one and it was a buy one get one free offer" she says smiling,she didn't need a new one but she got it because of me and the thought of that makes my heart swell
" Thanks lily, your the best" I say as we both head out. " Bye I love you" she says, " I love you too ria" she says.
" I don't know why your even friends with this D-LISTER let alone besties" I say entering a cab.
"Because every one needs a friend like you especially a clumsy B-LISTER like me" she calls out before going back in as I tell the cab where I'm headed feeling happy.
