Auroras POV:
I am watching TV when the doorbell rings. I run to the door and see Connor standing there with Jay.
"Hey Con, hey Jay." I smile
"Hey Rora." Jay smiles, "I'm helping him move in. Will and Nat took in an extra shift."
"Kay." I smile as I unlock the door, "Alessia is with a friend and Maya is napping."
"Alright." Connor replies giving me a quick kiss before walking to Jay's truck.
We bring in some boxes and take them to my room. It's mostly clothes. Then we bring in all the personal things. I'm helping Connor unpack his clothes when I hear a little pitter patter of footsteps. It turn and see Maya holding her blanket.
"Mama." She walks over
"Hey baby girl." I lift her onto my lap, "how'd you sleep?"
She nods and buries her face in my neck.
"Hey Maya." Connor rubs her back softly
"Hi." Maya mumbles
"I'm helping Connor unpack his clothes. Can you sit on my bed?" I ask as she nods.
I place her on my bed and continue unpacking and putting away Connor's clothes. We then put away his other stuff. We finish around 4pm. Alessia messages me asking if I can come get her.
"Everything ok babe?" Connor asks
"Yeah, I just have to go and get Less." I tell him, kissing him softly, "be back in 30."
"Kay." He smiles as I exit the house.
I hop in my car and start driving to Alessia's friend's house. I park and walk to the door. Alessia opens it and then says bye to her friend. We hop into the car. We start driving.
"So Connor is moved in?" Alessia asks
"Yeah. He's with Maya right now." I reply
"Ok." She replies
We head through an intersection when a car comes speeding and smashes into us, sending us rolling. I lose consciousness

Matthew Casey's POV:
We get called to an accident. Looks like a car accident. One car got rolled. We hop out.
"Truck, take the rolled car. Squad, the other car." Chief orders
I lead truck to the rolled car. I peer in the window. A woman and girl. I notice a piece of metal in the woman's leg.
"We have two female victims. Looks like mother and daughter. Woman has metal in her leg. Kidd, jaws, Otis, cribbing. Mouch, Backboard and whizzer saw. We need to stabilize it." I exclaim
They run to get the tools and we work on getting the victims. I pull out the woman onto the backboard. I recognize her. Dr Kennedy. Which means the girl might be Alessia.
"We've got her." Brett tells me and takes Dr Kennedy away.
We get her daughter out. They take her to another ambo.

Will Halsteads POV:
"Dr Halstead, Dr Manning! Incoming." Maggie exclaims, "Mother and daughter from accident."
I nod as the first patient is wheeled in.
"Aurora Kennedy, 32 year old female. Car was hit by another and rolled. Daughter is in the ambo behind us. Major head trauma. Impaled leg. Unconscious upon arrival. GCS 5, intubated in the field." Brett tells us
"Crap, Maggie call Dr Rhodes. It's Aurora!" I yell as we move her into trauma 1!
She nods and we transfer her to the hospital bed. I get a nurse to hook her up to the machines.
"Let's get an X-ray in here!" I call
The XRay technician comes in and does the X Ray.
"Carla, page the OR, tell them we're on our way up. Let's move!" I order as we rush the bed out as I see Alessia wheeled in.

Connor Rhodes POV:
I am at home with Maya. I notice it's almost been an hour. Aurora doesn't answer her phone. I see Maggie call me. I answer.
"Hey Mags!" I exclaim
"Connor. Get to med now. Aurora and Alessia were in a car accident. Alessia seems ok but Aurora..." Maggie replies
"I'm on my way!" I end the call.
"Maya, coat and shoes now!" I tell her, "mommy and sissy are hurt!"
"Otay." She runs and put her coat and shoes on.
I grab some spare clothes for the girls. I grab Maya. I carry her out to my car, which is thankfully fixed and buckle her in. I drive is to med and carry Maya inside with me. Maggie finds me.
"Hey Connor, Aurora is in surgery right now. Alessia is awake. Come on!" Maggie leads me
I follow her and see Alessia in a room.
"Daddy!" Alessia cries
I run in, "hey baby girl."
"Sissy!" Maya smiles and climbs onto the bed to hug her sister.
I kiss the top of Alessia's head.
"Mom?" Alessia asks
"She's in surgery at the moment. A piece of metal got stuck in her leg." I reply softly, "your ok though."
She nods. I keep an arm tightly around her. Soon Will walks in. He has a grim look on his face.
"Connor?" He gestures outside the room.
I nod and quickly exit.
"How is she?" I ask
"We removed the metal. Her leg is fine. But there is swelling in her brain. She is in a coma. We don't know when she'll wake up." Will tells me.
I nod, a tear falling down my face.
"And Alessia?" I ask
"Nat told me she is ok. Just a concussion. The car hit Rory's side." Will replies
"Can we see Aurora?" I ask
He nods, "ICU, room 4. Alessia is good for discharge. Keep her rested though."
I nod and walk into the room.
"Hey kiddos." I smile softly
"How's momma?" Alessia asks
"She's ok. The surgery on her leg went ok. But she hurt her head pretty bad so she is taking a big nap right now." I explain to them both, "we can go see her. I brought you some clothes Less."
"Ok." She smiles as I quickly exit with Maya so that she can change.
She exits her room.
"Come on kid." I smile and hold an arm around her.
We go to the elevator and up to the ICU. We see Aurora in a bed on a ventilator. We walk in. I put Maya down. I slowly make my way to Aurora. I hold her hand.
"Hey baby. I know you can't hear me right now. Alessia is ok. Please wake up Rora." I murmur softly
Maya runs over and reaches for me, "daddy!"
I smile gently and lift her up. We spend some time with Aurora before visiting hours end and we head home. I pick up Alessia's prescription for medication for her concussion on the way. Alessia gets a headache so when we get home I carry her out of the car with Maya walking. Once I head inside, I go upstairs and I lay Alessia in her bed and give her a dose of medication and turn off her light, letting her sleep. I watch some TV with Maya before putting her to bed and grabbing a beer and sitting out on the upstairs balcony. I start to cry softly. I hear the balcony door open. I look up to see Will.
"Hey will." I exclaim softly
"Hey Connor. I grabbed a beer if you don't mind." He exclaims, sitting down
"No problem." I reply, staring out over the park behind Aurora and I's house.
"You ok man?" He asks
I put my beer down and hide my face in my hands.
"I don't know!" I cry, "I almost lost two people I love today. Aurora is in a coma."
"I know bud." Will replies, "it's tough. I know."
"Alessia and Maya started calling me Dad today." I murmur
"That's great man." Will replies, "well I have to go. Call me if you need me! Anything at all."
"Thanks Will." I reply as he leaves.
I finish my beer and head to bed.
