When midnight got his sense back, he seen everyone was dead and his hands covered in blood. He then looked up and saw dream, he was petrified(turned to stone) midnight ran up to dream, midnight cried and said he was sorry, he didn't want to hurt dream, midnight only wanted the villagers gone not dream. But there was no use to just sitting here midnight had a job to do and it was to cause negativity. So midnight got up and left never turning back with tears in his eyes. Midnight walked for hours until he came upon the castle of feelings, the god who sat upon the throne is what the castle will turn in to(so what ever feeling the being holds is the title of the castle) midnight walked up to the castles doors, saying "who ever sits on the throne is the main royal ruler"(in this nightmare and dream are gods but royalty as well) midnight walks in to the castle, looking around to see a dull room everything was blank, he then look up to the throne, and walked up to it and sat down. Then castle began to change, the castle then had colors it was black with a dark purple and some tealish green. Midnight then noticed his clothes had changed so did hi crown

Midnight then had a thought "it would be best if I look around if I'm going to liver I must now my around" midnight got up off the throne and walked around the castle, he chose the left side on the first floor, he walked down the hallway there were ten rooms he walked in all of them, they all look the same a walk in closet and a bathroom that was pretty big, so midnight went to the right side of the castle, it looked the exact same as the left except there was a pair of stairs that lead up stairs and a door that had high security, midnight would have to check that out after he looked at up stairs. Midnight walked up the stairs to find a hallway that had six rooms, but the door look different that the ones down stairs, they look more fancy, midnight walked in to the room they look even bigger that the ones down stairs. Midnight then came a upon two doors at the end of the hallway, mid opened one of the doors and walked into the room it was the king and queen's room it had a big walk in closet and a huge bathroom, it even had a balcony, midnight then walked in to the bathroom and look at himself in the mirror "I look like a nightmare" then he had and idea, " I will change my name, didn't like "midnight" anyway" he then said his name would be nightmare. Nightmare loved his new name it is fit for a king. Nightmare then checked his status

The goopy on his hand made a hissing sound as it healed "well I guess I have to wip the blood off...." After nightmare go done he went to his closet to find it full of clothes made just for him. Nightmare then put a purple pull over jacket over it, the jacket was a bit big but not to big, nightmare then got in to his bed a fell in to a deep sleep. . . . . . . . . (In nightmare's nightmare)
Nightmare on the ground with his knees to chest and hands on his head asking the voices to stop "YOU SHOULD BE DEAD" "YOU DON'T DESERVE TO LIVE" then one of the voices sounded like dream " I HATE YOU" "I WISH YOU WEREN'T MY BROTHER" (end of nightmare)
Nightmare woke up in a panic and was breathing very fast, then tears started to fill his eyes "they're right I should have died no them" nightmare said remembering the nightmare he had(this is so confusing) " dream is right too I don't deserve to be his brother" " I'm a monster" "no one will love me" nightmare cried himself to sleep that night. The next morning nightmare got up and got out of his bed and headed down stairs to get himself something to eat. When he got upstairs he seen a stack of papers that had a sticky note on it, It read "hello nightmare god of negativity, since you are now a god you will have paper work on the balence and your job" nightmare just sighed and said "what did I expect, paradise for a monster like me?"
