Eyes

(Walking into high school for the very first time, their eyes met as they shouldn't have.)

Walking past each other on the first day of high school, their eyes locked on for a slight moment as they walked pass each other.
The nervousness of a new place and new people filled Zane with a buzz in his stomach. Closing his eyes he took a deep breath in and out. As he's clueless about his class's whereabouts, he walks here and there looking and peeking into classes. Wondering if he should ask someone, while in his mind he thinks about how all his life he has been an introvert and now he's facing problems communicating with people. As he's wandering around he comes across a boy who it seemed was trying to find his class as well.

"Hi! I'm Ace.", he said putting his hand out.
Shaking his hand he replied, "Hey, I'm Zane nice to meet you."
"So you're looking for your class as well huh?", asked Ace.
"Ya, been wandering for quite some time now", said Zane.
"Well let's search together then?", asks Ace.
"Sure man", replies Zane.

Both the boys now start searching for their class. As Ace starts asking around more and more, Zane realises that Ace is quite an extrovert, who's very energetic and assertive. It didn't take him long to find their class. Both of them enter and take their seats. Zane as usual took the corner last seat where he could feel unseen and can mind his own business. Meanwhile Ace took the last seat in the middle row beside Zane.

As the chattering of the class raised, Zane put on his earphones and started dissociating and looking around.
Meanwhile, Ace started talking to other students trying to make more friends. As this goes on for a while, the sound of foot steps filled the corridors with it's echo.

And suddenly, walks in the girl with whom Zane's eyes met when he entered the school. As she walks in, Zane's dissociation dissociates, and he quickly takes out his earphones. As she enters the class, She starts to look around and stands in front of the class. She takes a stance and shouts,
