(Y/N): your name. (Y/D/N): your daughters name. (Y/H/C): your hair color. Nialls
POV“(Y/D/N)!” I scream as I chase her, after slamming the door. I don’t know what’s wrong with her,
all I did was introduce her my new girlfriend and she ran out of the house screaming. “(Y/D/N) Horan!
Come here, now. You do not run away from me.”She stops in her tracks next to the tree in the front
yard, her breathing heavy and hands running through her (Y/H/C) hair, making her look so much like
her mother. (Y/D/N) collapses next to the tree, her knees to her cest and hands covering sobs. Once I
get to her location, I sit next to her, taking her body into my arms.“I feel like I’m dying.” She gasps,
through her lungs.“You’re breathing, (Y/D/N). Just relax.” I attempt to comfort her. Streams of tears
tide down her red cheeks. “You’re replacing mom.”I take in a deep breath. (Y/N). God, I haven’t heard
that name in forever. Flashes from the past flicker in my head. From the moment I met (Y/N), to the
very moment she passed. (Y/N) was my entire life, you couldn’t just replace her.“Listen, (Y/D/N).” I
say, my tone soft. “Your mother was a very special woman. We loved each other with all that we could
give. You remind me so much of her. No one could ever make us feel the way that she did… But she
would want us to move on-” “Don’t say that! If you really loved her you wouldn’t replace her!”I find my
hands running through my bleached hair, warm drops came from my eyes, planting on (Y/D/N) shirt.
I’d hate for her to see me like this. Dads are supposed to be brave.“Princess,” I grit my teeth from
sobs. “No one will ever take her place. I know what kind of woman she is; not the kind that would want" us to be stuck on something forever. I’m positive she will be very happy that we don’t live in that
grief.”(Y/D/N)’s breathing picks up again, wiping tears with her sleeve, making me feel even
worse.“She’s watching down on us, (Y/D/N).” I assure her, kissing her forehead, and taking her hand
to help her up. I can swear, I saw the same sparkle (Y/N) always had in her eyes.
