i found this on Tumblr. i found it beautiful. i think this fic had something similar? dazai, chuuya and reader had feelings for each other, but were too afraid to show it, to confess. in that sense, it isn't really unrequited love- but maybe it was something more akin to this.

also, the inspiration i had for this fic was some tiktok i saw about hanahaki disease. "imagine loving someone so beautifully that it kills you." i instantly got an idea. LOL.

the debate for angst ending / happy ending was TOUGH. i spent an entire day weighing my options, because i actually thought of the angst ending first....then i was like "hmm, you're not very good at writing angst, though." then i changed it to a happy one.

TO BE HONEST, i have not watched bsd. oopsies. but i read fics, watched tiktoks of my bbg dazai osamu and the bf nakahara chuuya. soukoku saved the day btw. but i WILLLL watch it all soon. once again , probably in november LMAOOO. but it'll be a real marathon when it happens!!

also, i love magic and mystery by Allegory_for_Hatred on ao3. IT'S SOOO GOOD. i loved their dazai sm :(((( i need him to be coddled more.
