The Choice for Evolution

Minoa turned around and said, I'll be leaving in two days Vicenoc looked at him and asks him, will you make it in time? Minoa shook his head then asked her, unless you have a smaller, cuter dragon form, or apply with me, you won't be seeing me for a very long time, Vicenoc. She smiled and said, halt the training for now! I'll apply with you, Minoa! He sighs and briefly says, good luck then, you'll definitely need it.

Vicenoc smiles as Minoa began to pack up lunch. She asks Minoa, The world is a dark place, isn't it? Minoa leaned back against a tree and said, I suppose so, I haven't been here long so I wouldn't... know... 

Vicenoc still had many questions but decided to join Minoa in a nap. she sat beside him and leans her head against Minoa's shoulder and said, thank you... for... your kindness... 

A few hours passed by and Minoa was cutting deer meat and sharpening a throwing knife. Vicenoc looked at him then asks, did you, do this with that knife?  Minoa looked at her then asked, can you not hunt, Vicenoc?  She punched his abdomen and said, I can hunt, what I'm asking is did you use that knife to kill that deer?  

Minoa coughed out blood and wiped his mouth before saying, I forgot the strength dragons possess. yes, i used this blade to kill this deer, bot not the blade alone. I used magic to make limitless like thread at the handle to control where it goes and pull it back. it was an idea i got when fishing popped into my mind.

Vicenoc sighs and said, you come up with the most craziest idea's, you know that? Minoa smiled and said, don't you want to train? Vicenoc shook her head then said, I don't want to get too powerful. Minoa froze and everything went silent as he looked at her then said, you said that you lost your mother to a group of adventurers, right? Vicenoc nodded and Minoa said the same will happen to you if you are not stronger then your enemy. Let me see if I have one left... 

Minoa swipes his finger down four times and touches  a word than a crystal appears in his hand. Vicenoc froze in place and asks, is that an evolution crystal!?  Minoa nods and carefully placed it beside him and said, you want to survive and become better than your mother, am I correct? she looked down then at Minoa again and said, I do! I want to make up for her mistakes and bring darkness where it shall be! Minoa grabs the crystal and approached her saying, good answer, Vicenoc.
