I never wanted to post something like this, but here it goes.
It took me nearly an entire year to write season 1 of this story and I loved every minute of it. I was filled with so much excitement coming up with ideas and twists that I hadn't seen utilized before and I had to neglect a lot of other projects and keep other readers waiting while I finished this. So to see so few comments and votes tells me either no one of the 2,600 viewers liked the story or all those people are ghost readers. But when you ghost read and leave no feedback naturally a writer gets discouraged. I just can't take another year to write another season that will get no comments or votes. It's like being excited for your birthday party and then no one shows up, that might sound childish but it's the best metaphor I've got. I really wanted to continue the journey for these characters, especially Maela and Aemond, but no feedback = no motivation. So this story will just end as discontinued.
I did want to shout out an animator I found on Youtube who made an AWESOME looking scene of what the Battle of Rooks Rest might look like in season 2! They even recreated some shots from the trailer. I've added the video below.
