; to clarify, this is a flash back of how Y/N met Percy. This chapter will be very short, as it just depicts how Y/N met him. So you're around 6 years old during this. :)

It was another lovely monday morning for me, just the birds humming while the sun touches my young face. Today is the day, the day where a new family moves in to our neighborhood. My father had told me to wake up early to prepare our welcome gift to our new neighbors.

"Y/N! Come down here, our new neighbors has arrived. Help me carry this carbonora as a gift for them." my father told me. I immediately got out of bed and went down the stairs, following his order. I was excited to meet them, knowing they also have a child, a son, to be specific.

"Is that their son, dad?" i pointed to the window, revealing the new family that had just moved. "Yes, Y/N. He's also 6, just like you. Can you believe that? I do hope you'll both get along well." he said with a smile.

"Yeah, i do hope so." my father carried the carbonara and i carried the soda that were meant to be given to them. If i got to choose, i'll choose the carbonara. A bottle of soda is too heavy for a 6 year old.

We approached the family's moving van, moving closer and closer to them. "Hey there!" my father initiated a conversation.

The woman looked at our direction and smiled, "Hello there! You must be our neighbors! I'm Sally, Sally Jackson." she said. Her voice so fluttering that it could probably make me fall asleep within seconds.

"Yes we are. I'm Y/F/N, this is my daughter, Y/N." he introduced us. I smiled and nodded to my name being mentioned.

"Well hello Y/N, this is my son, Percy." she took Percy's hand and took him in front to meet me. The boy had curly blond hair, and he had a blank expression.

"Percy, say hi to Y/N." she said while taking his hand again to wave it. "Hello, i'm Percy." he introduced himself to me. If i'm being honest, i think he looks forced to do this.

"I'm Y/N. Nice to meet you, Percy! I hope we can be great friends." I replied while giving him a big smile.

"Now, if you guys need anything, that's our house." my father pointed to the white house beside them, "We'll be going now. Good bye Sally." my father waved good bye, and so did i.

As my father opened the door to let me in, i started a conversation, "Dad, i don't think he really likes me that much." i said with a sad expression on my face. "You think? He likes you, Y/N. Probably. But don't worry about it, you both just met. You can't expect someone to like you that fast when you've just met." he said, reassuring me.

I nodded and smiled, and went to my room. We were supposed to eat lunch, but the small conversation were tiring to me. All i wanted to do at this moment was sleep.
