*unedited bc I need to sleep*

leah was sat at the table with her family, eating lunch. a big bowl soup stood on the table, barely touched.

"but mum, it's not good. i  don't like it." leah's 15 year old sister, lucy, groaned. she was a selfish little brat, and partied and hooked up with guys, plus stealing leah's boyfriends over with her charm and model body.

"lucy! be nice to your mother! it's not the best she's cooked, but it isn't bad!" steven, leah's dad, said, trying to defend beth, leah's mother.

"yeah lucy, come on. i like it." liam, the twelve year old boy glared at her sister. it was either too bad, or not even bad. lucy snorted, rolling her eyes.

"christian likes it." the twenty year old nodded, swallowing a spoonful of soup. leah looked down at her plate.

"may I be excused? the soup was delicious. thanks, mom." after putting her plate in the sink, kissing her mum on the cheek, she headed upstairs. she couldn't stop thinking of this michael kid. he was handsome. very handsome. what if lucy stole him? lucy the brat. she wore short skirts and short dresses, while leah wore skinny jeans and band tees. lucy had high heels, leah converse, vans and other sneakers. leah ran a few fingers through her purple-ish hair, sighing. lucy ruined it all. may seem dramatic but it was true. a few months back, leah had a fling with a boy one grade above named nick. they were together for a couple weeks before lucy started flirting with him. he used to cancel their dates to go meet up with lucy. he thought leah didn't know, but oh she did. eventually, nick broke up. it wasn't too bad, nothing serious. but she still got hurt. somebody you like, cheating on you with your sister? nu uh. a secret lucy had was smoking. she was a bad girl.

enough about lucy. now, leah.

leah dyed her hair when she turned sixteen. same color as now, the purple-ish. at the top of her head, the purple was a small bit darker shade but then it became lighter. ombré, leah loved ombré. when it started to fade, she just dyed it again. she thought about putting purple contacts in, to match her hair and eyes. but she liked her blue-grey eyes. and she got the star tattoo on her seventeenth birthday. leah was beth and steven's little girl, almost their favorite, and they always reminded her of how much of a star she was.

"le, jenna's at the door." jenna was leah's best friend since diapers. leah grabbed her green military jacket and rushed downstairs.

"le! you said you need some new clothes, so let's go to the mall!" leah grinned. jenna was always in a happy mood, spreading positivity around her. whenever leah was around her, she became happier than she already was.

"sure." jenna placed her hands on her hip, standing in a sassy manner.

"you always wear that green jacket."

"i like it. wait, i love it." leah smirked grabbing her wallet, keys and other important things and stuffed them into a small bag.

they walked to the mall, since it was very close to leah's house. the sun was shining (as it always did here in sydney) and you could tell spring was already here, even in february.

"i want to go to topshop first." leah said quickly before jenna could drag her towards a girly store.

"ugh, fine." at topshop, leah bought a few t-shirts/band t-shirts and a few pair of skinny jeans, blue, black and white. them, they went to hot topic and bought more t-shirts/band tees (you can never get enough of black skinny jeans and band tees).

"now let's go to forever 21." leah groaned. she wasn't that much into girly clothes, but they were okay. "oh my god! this would fit you so well!" jenna pointed at a floral top that would go along with the blue jeans. leah smiled, taking one in her size.

they bought a few dresses, because jenna said it was a party tonight. after forever 21 they went to more stores, just for fun.

"i'm exhausted. let's go to starbucks." jenna was a white girl. starbucks was her thing. they ordered, and took a seat by the window so they could watch the people pass. and this was leah's chance to talk abut michael.

"and his hair was pink and he was very handsome, or good looking." jenna was grinning ear to ear by this stage.

"leah! i'm so proud of my baby." She pretended to wipe a tear away, and soon both girls were laughing.

"let's go home and try on the clothes, then get ready for the party."

"what about this one?" leah spun around in her dress. it was red, ending a little above her knees. it was tight in the upper part, so you could see her breasts sticking out. then, at the stomach it flowed out. lace covered her shoulders and around her neck.

"hmm, i think this one, but go for the black one instead." leah had bought an exact same, but black.

"fine." after having trouble with the zip, the dress was finally on.

"your so beautiful! now, makeup and hair!" leah added some makeup on her face while. jenna curled leah's hair slightly, fixing some minor details. leah stuck her feet into a pair of black flats with two inch heels and felt very girly. she took her bag and grabbed her phone, snapping a few selfies. leah felt very beautiful too, but when she turned around she felt so insecure. jenna was so much prettier. She had a light pink dress just like leah's, and her blonde hair in a fishtail braid. she had a nude makeup look which made her blue eyes pop and black high heels.

"your prettier than me." leah mumbled. jenna shook her head.

"let's go." the girls began walking to the party a few blocks away, since leah lived close to everything. "it's zack's party. he's hot." jenna pretended to faint, leah catching her.

once they reached the house, the party was going on. cara had parked in the driveway, even in a neighbors, music was blasting through the speakers and a lot of people were out.

"hey!" zack spotted them through the crowd. he handed them two red plastic cups, probably with beer in them, telling them to enjoy.

michael leaned against the wall, taking a sip of his beer. luke was chatting with zack, ashton was peeing and calum was dancing like there was no tomorrow. a  blonde bimbo walked up to michael, smirking.

"hello there, handsome. do you want to go upstairs?" the girl grabbed him by his collar, yanking him forward.

"no thanks. i don't sleep with bimbos like you." she gasped, smacking his chest and storming away.

"who's that?" ashton asked, giggling his signature giggle.

"some bimbo that tried to get me upstairs but   said no." michael smiled. then he spotted her in the crowd. she was so beautiful, he wanted to puke and roll around in mud. "ash! she's the one! the girl with the black dress over there!" ashton searched for her, and when he finally found her, he gasped.

"you guys would be the cutest couple!" he was literally fangirling right now. michael rushed over to her, tapping her shoulder since she was standing with her back to him.

"hi michael!" She grinned, pushing her friend away.

"y-you remember my name?" he stuttered.

"of course, why wouldn't i?"

"i- nothing. so what's your name?" michael bit his lip, playing with the hem of his shirt.

"it's leah." it fit her perfectly. "dang it, my friend is calling so i have to go. i'll see you around!" then she disappeared. and he never saw her again that night.
