That day, Alexander was dropped off to his home by the ambulance. The wardens helped him to his bed and informed him about all the medicines, he's supposed to take for the next one week.

Alexander felt numb. As if his own head had blocked them to mourn his grief. After they were gone, Alexander sat up and took the photo from the bedside stand.

A photo of him and Athena when they had got married. She wore a white satin off shoulder dress that showed a small amount of cleavage. It hugged her body till the waist from where it flowed down freely. One of her gloved hands was on her chest while the other one was in Alexander's hands. Her veil was flowing behind and it reached only upto her waist.

Alexander had felt that no bride could ever give competition to his wife. He hugged the photo close and imagined every moment they had together.

"I promise Athena, I would find the person who hated you that much that he killed you."

He kept the photo back and stood up. He changed into new clothes. Taking some money that would last for 2 months if spent carefully, he was about to leave his room when he stopped. He got back to the photo and took out it. He hovered his hands over Athena.

"I would find him. Wherever he is, I would find him. If he's in any other continent, I would fly down and get him for you. If he's in any house in the woods, I would search every house in this world, till I die but I would find him. Even if he's in the dark depths of hell, I would fight the Devil and find him and kill him again so that he would go to hell again. All for you. For you only, my love."

He stuffed the photo into his pocket and went downstairs, locking his room. Taking a last look at the house, he went out in the dark.

He was unsure whether he would return but also he didn't want to.

He walked for miles unknown where he wanted to go. All he knew was that he wanted to go away from that house which reminded him every time that he failed to protect his wife and his unborn child.

He imagined what if he had a daughter. Small, round eyes looking upto him, her small arms around his legs as Athena came running behind her.

Or what if he had a son. His mischievous eyes darting throughout the room as he opened the fridge to steal the ice cream.

Alexander laughed at himself.

This could all have been true if the incident hadn't happened. All this because she won a case, because she brought justice.

Suddenly a black van stopped beside him.

Number of men, their face masked came rushing out from the van and captured Alex.

"Leave me! Hey, leave me! Who are you?"

A handkerchief came over his mouth as he continued to struggle against those big men.

He felt darkness creeping upon his eyes and his eyes soon went limp as he welcomed the darkness.

"I guess he would wake up soon."

"I had told Zade to only push sleeping medicine but he used chloroform. It was strong, I hope it doesn't affect him too much."

"Why are you concerned?"

"I..no..I mean.."

"Listen Nathan, you are a part of this gang and you are not supposed to show any weakness. You need to grow up much before you become a permanent member."
