Swordsmanship

On the middle of an open field, a group of people wearing black uniforms can be seen.

"Ogre.." Some of the students whispered under their breath once their eyes fall upon a old man with white long hair and narrow eyes.

"Pick up your swords" Seem like he decided to turn a deaf ear as he point to a pile of wooden swords

Nobody moved until the Rimuru make his to the wooden sword piles with Ririna at his tail, he took two of the wooden sword, he hold the two seem to be analyzing them.

"He followed the ogre's order.." Was most of the whispering Rimuru could hear, but as usual, he doesn't care.

By a second the other ogres followed his steps and each of them take a sword.

"Lady Ririna this one is smaller than the other" Shuna offered Ririna a sword which actually seem smaller than the others.

"Oh, thanks Shuna" Rimuru thanked her as Ririna took the sword and tried to swing it left and right, Shuna happily nodded as a response for Rimuru's thanks.

"Now this is utterly ridicilous!!" All eyes shifted to the brunette.

'That remind me of a certain character from a certain animation about hero and ladybug'

She swing her hand dramatically "i can still accept a dryad but an lowly ogre is utterly ridicilous!!"

"If you have any disagreement with the rule from the king himself then you can have a word with him" The old man replied calmly "however i can't assure the king won't take it as an act of treason"

This managed to make Kirara finally shut her mouth her as she let out a Loud screech before leaving the scene.

"Now you all pair up"

"Uh you sure wanna fight me dude?" Rimuru lay his wooden sword on his own shoulder as Benimaru tried to swing his a few times, at first Rimuru was planning to pair with Ririna, but much to his delight Benimaru got to him first and Ririna ended up pairing with Souei instead.

"Why you ask?" Benimaru got into position.

'Is this dude stupid?'

Rimuru lowered his body while he hold the sword up with both of his hands "uh... Because i'm level 99?"

Benimaru chuckled "we both have two digits level, don't hold back"

'No he's not stupid, he's nuts'

"As you wished" And with that Benimaru charged toward Rimuru. For others then it may look like he's running at him with full speed, but for Rimuru

'This feel like watching a youtube tutorial on 0.25 speed..'

Rimuru waited for Benimaru's sword to get close to his face before he swing his sword to block it, but he isn't expecting his swing to be strong enough to send the big buff man flying and landed on top of a tree close to them.

"Sorry! You good?!" He drop his sword and rushed to the tree where Benimaru had landed, he look up and found him being tangled between branches of the tree.

"Yeah... Mind helping me down?" Just by saying a simple sentence all the branches holding Benimaru up the ground started to crack, and let's just say everyone know what to expect next, including the ogre himself "... Frick"

The loud bang are enough to signify just how hard he hitted the ground, not to mention the mini earth quake it caused.

"... Still good?" Rimuru questioned as he helped Benimaru to sit down, Rimuru noticed Bersamamu upper sleeve which he's holding on to tighly start to turn darker like it's getting soaked "dude you're bleeding"

"I'm fine" Benimaru simply replied as he tried to get up, but before he managed Rimuru pushed him back to the ground by pushing his shoulder "Ririna some help?"

Ririna quickly reacted as she ran to where Benimaru and Rimuru are, she sat down and put her hand over Benimaru's injury as her hand start to glow.

"This is.." Benimaru felt the sharp pain on his arm slowly fade away. While he's still watching Ririna, Rimuru couldn't help but chuckled proudly.

He stand up and straighten his pose "My sister are quite the talented healer y'know, she can even heal poison" He announced whole puffing out his chest.

'If not then i'm a dead meat in the dungeon back then'

Slowly the light start to go dimp before it eventually dissapeared completely "still hurt?" Benimaru shook his head and thanked Ririna as he stand up.

Without saying anything Ririna quickly rose and sprinted back to Souei "your sister are quite talented" This caused Rimuru to puff out his chest even more "why are you acting like i'm complimenting you my lord?" Rimuru decided to turn a deaf ear to the last sentence.

"Alright let's practice again!"

They are back into position, Rimuru get into his stance but Benimaru didn't move an inch, instead he seem to be deep in thought. After a solid two minutes finally Rimuru couldn't take the awkward stare.

"Did you hit your head?" His question seem to bring Benimaru back to reality as he saw Benimaru jumped a little.

"No, it's just" Benimaru widen his legs and hold his sword infront of his body with his right hand "who taught you your stance?"

"Hm? No one, i just naturally do this" This managed to cause Benimaru to almost lost his grip on his sword and to top it all Rimuru continued "and to be honest, i never hold a sword before"

'Since i always focus on magic during my first life, i naturally did the same in this one.. Even tho in my second life i kinda regret never using a sword before because it looked so cool in animes and movies'

"You really are something else.." Benimaru chuckled as he fixed his posture back "your stance looked so polished, nobody will expect this is your first time bearing a.. sword!" Benimaru jumped and tried to hit Rimuru from his above, but Rimuru stopped his sword causing him to jump back.

"I'm not an expert, but i feel like your swordmanship is also good no?" Rimuru questioned as he blocked Benimaru's big swing from his left side.

"Let's say my sword master are someone quite important" In the distance an old man which is teaching Ririna how to hold her sword stopped his lecture due to him sneezing.

"Are you okay sir Hakurou?" Ririna offered him her handkerchief but Hakurou pushed it back to her.

"Thank you young lady, but i'm fine" He refused.

Rimuru decided he's done playing the defense so he give Benimaru a quick swing while he tried to hold back the best he could, even so Benimaru are barely able to stop his swing.

A smoke appeared from the ground below Benimaru causing the two to look down, they are greeted by the sight of Benimaru's feet being burried inside the ground due to the high pressure he had created while he stopped Rimuru's sword.

An imaginary drop of water appeared beside their head "i think it's enough for the day my lord" Benimaru suggested as he pull his feet out from the mini hole he had created.

"Um, uhm" Rimuru nodded and with that the two sat under the tree Benimaru was stuck on, after a few minutes class had ended and they moved to their next class.
