Yukimura shot Komyu away, who fell back out of the alleyway, before he took Kyo's hand and rushed them past her. The girl giggled, grabbing onto Kyo's ankle and making her lose grip of his arm. He glanced back at her.
Komyu held Kyo close, as she ran her knife elegantly across Kyo's delicate skin, blood slowly squeezed out and collected on the knife, as Kyo was too frightened to even react. She then began trying to break herself free, while Komyu licked the blood.
Ugh! we're struggling with her because we're in direct contact! Unlike with Shi 30! She was busy with Mnemi!!
Kyo bit Komyu's arm, before morphing into a cat and breaking free, she ran past Yukimura, who began running behind her, trying to think of anything to lose her, but Komyu caught up, and jabbed her knife into Yukimura's shoulder.
"Did you not see me drink her blood? ~" She asked, as she was now sitting on top of his back, Yukimura gagging at the sudden attack. He watched as he felt warm liquid drench his clothing. Komyu looked up at Kyo.
Yukimura tried to give her the signal with his eyes, the one which told her 'Take a run for it!', but Kyo ignored. She didn't like this, the feeling of defeat. The girl slowly stepped up, as Komyu's cat smug returned.
She stopped in her tracks, watching Komyu's hand run across the handle of the knife which was stabbed into a paining Yukimura. He grits his teeth as sweat ran down his brown skin, trying his best to stay composed in a situation like this.
"If I can't act, what makes me qualified for a guardian? didn't you say that before, Yuki?" Kyo suddenly said, as Komyu glanced at him and then at her multiple times, not picking up what she's saying. Yukimura only stares at her.
"If I'm ever planning on being a hero to others, then running away like a coward isn't an option. I'll fight her here and now, and I will save you." She mastered out, as she clenched her fists. Komyu pulled out her bloodied knife.
Yukimura gasped, but stayed quiet nonetheless, between them both, he knew Kyo was more capable since she had more experienced, but he too, he wanted to prove himself worthy. Being rescued by someone else hurt his pride.
Komyu licked the blood from the knife, twirling it around as excitement bubbled up in her once more, she licked her bloody lips. Her outfit was stained with blood, and she sure was happy to drink up more. Kyo shivered.
"You're so prideful! When I shatter both your prides, it'll be a cute scene, right? Right?!" She said happily, before letting out a creepy giggle. "I'll be nice and tell you something about my ability," She hummed, feeling pity for the both of them.
"The strength I gain is decided by the quality of the blood I consume... fear, is a good factor for it," She whispered softly, as she prepared herself in a battle stance to resume the fight, she and Kyo were having earlier.
Nakato and Hunter were still engaging in a severe battle, as Mocha watched, tears stinging her eyes. She hated how this was all her fault, once again. Hunter dodged several attacks, before multiple rock spikes caused him to be pushed back.
He fell and rolled on the ground, before standing right up again, spitting on the ground. Nakato was too growing tired of this, as his attacks became less effective by the passing time. Mocha had conducted that his stamina runs out quicker.
Nakato released ice from his fingers as the spikes continued unraveling, destroying the surrounding area. Hunter dodged quickly, as he slid on the ground by Mocha. They shared a brief moment of eye contact.
Nakato turned to them, cracking his knuckles, itching to end this fight and get this over with already. Hunter straightened his back; he noticed the reducing speed of his attacks. "You're pretty weak, aren't you? Unable to land a hit." He cackled.
"Your experience in fighting is equivalent to a Senior. I haven't really done internships during the first academic year like some of my classmates, so I wouldn't call myself that pro yet..." Hunter said, as he steadied himself.
"But... because you have so many elements, your stamina runs out much quicker, and so does your attack strength, which leaves me at an advantage." Hunter explained, as Nakato raised an eyebrow, impressed.
"With all those attacks shot at you and you still noticed? Guess I am that bad at covering it, aren't I?" He said, before he shifted the weight of his legs.
"But that doesn't mean you'll win!" He roared, as he let the vines grow out of the ground and shoot at Hunter, who used his fire to defend himself until he can find an opening to bring Nakato down and rescue Mocha.
Hunter picked up Mocha and dodged just in time, before he was sent to the side, about to lose his balance. He decided to leave Mocha far away from Nakato's grasp, so they can have all the space to fight.
Mocha was let down on her feet, so she snuck while they were busy and began running to somewhere else, to avoid being injured by either, or so that she wouldn't bring Hunter down by needing to protect her.
Nakato prepared himself to send another series of attacks, and Hunter was ready to fend them off by any required means. He hoped this wouldn't damage the street more than it already did. Nakato grinned.
"I'm enjoying this, you have some good build if you could handle being attacked by different elemental factors, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't." He said, as Hunter scoffed. "I don't need praising from a scum like you, so let's get this over with, I have a friend to save," He answered.
"Very well, then." Nakato replied, as he dashed at him once more with his hands ready to stirr up the first element he thinks of.
