My head thuds with a dull ache as my eyes flicker open. The room isn't exactly pitch dark but there isn't even sunshine, probably because the blinds are still closed.

Taking my time to adjust to the lights I massage my temples hoping it would reduce the pain in my head. The past three days have been no less than a tectonic shift in my life.

The woman who happens to be my wife now has walked into my life has gracefully made a place for herself in my world. It doesn't even feel like I have known her for just a couple of months. Feels like we've been like this for ages.

As my eyes peer open adjusting to the light my eyes landed on the lady in front of me looking like a lotus in the pink jumpsuit that adorned her body. Her back was facing me and she didn't know that I was already awake. I closed my eyes shut due to the pain.

A couple of minutes later I felt her presence at the corner of the bedside towering over my sleeping frame. She adjusted my duvet and sat beside me while my eyes were still closed.

Her fingers ran through my hair a couple of times and she muttered, Good Morning Mr Grumpy Rathore, I need to go to work today. I know you were working till late last night so, I won't disturb you. Sleep tight Akdu and kissed me on my forehead.

Her lips lingered on my skin and she pulled away and walked out closing the door behind her. Wait, she was already asleep when I came to the room last night, how does she know that I was working till late last night? And what did she call me, Grumpy and Akdu, did she?

But, despite whatever she said, it felt good. Her touch relaxed me and that kiss. I didn't expect her to do that but it felt so good.

Warmth rushed to my cheeks and a smile crept up on my lips as I dragged myself into the bathroom. Why the heck am I behaving like a lovesick giddy teenager? I walked into the closet to find my clothes hung up on the stand neatly ironed.

I made a mental note to thank her for the same and got ready for the day. Walking down the stairs I found my brothers already waiting for me on the breakfast table.

Good morning Bhai Sa, both of them wished and I greeted back. Everyone was at the table but the person whom I was looking for was nowhere to be seen.

Bhai Sa, if you're looking for Bhabhi Maa then, really sorry but she had to leave for the orphanage, there was some emergency and she needed to be there, Abhi whispered in my ear.

We had breakfast and all three of us drove to our office. In the driveway, I found Meera's Lamborghini already parked. Shaurya gave me a tour of the car collection that she had back when in Ahmedabad and I must say she has great taste.

She loved cars and because of that, her father sent all thirty-five of her cars over to Jaipur which are to be delivered by today. Everyone working in the reception room greeted us and we made our way to our cabin.

Agastya, our PA walked up to us and notified us that Meera was already in her cabin and had started to develop a new campaign under the travel sector.

All three of us wanted to meet her so we went straight into her cabin. She was already immersed in a conversation with a woman who to my knowledge happens to be her PA, Shefali.

I cleared my throat and she lifted her eyes. She acknowledged us with a nod and asked us to wait for a while. My brothers were busy admiring the interior of the room but I was busy admiring her. Clad in a blush pink jumpsuit paired with a white blazer and nude heels.

Her dainty jewellery and her face shining bright with a glow from within made her look ethereal as herself. Shefali excused herself and Meera stood up and walked to us.
