The Day Wattpad Died

I was charging my Ipod on my dock station. Wondering what time it was, I press the home button. At first I didn't realize it, but eventually figured out that my Ipod was broken. For reasons, still unknown, Ipod had decided to unexpectedly die.

My Ipod, such an important part of my life, a small rectangle of technology. An old Ipod at that, I had the Ipod 2, considered elderly in this day and age. My only mobile connection to the heavenly book worms world of Wattpad. How was I to carry on? My day-to-day life revolved around Wattpad.

Reading in the waiting room, commenting on lunch breaks, discovering stories waiting for the bus. Those small, but significant moments when the annoying physical aspects of the physical world seemed to melt away. My escape, my refuge had been torn away. What was I supposed to do while waiting in the waiting room,  was I expected to sociolize at lunch, daydream while waiting for the bus?

My world, however slightly, had shifted. I'm not rich enough to drop everything for new Ipod. So from that tragic day on until today I have been unwillingly shoved into this new world of interaction, distraction, and daydreaming. Trying to fill the hole that Wattpad had so joyfully filled.

And so I journey on. This is my simple story, one with limited Wattpad avalibility. But one I love.
