PROLOGUE
EMORY FALLON, was always different. She knew it and so did everyone else around her, she wasn't a bad different more like a weird different. Sometimes she could be a burst of living sunshine but at other times she would lock herself away in her room, away from everyone. It was understandable especially since what she had been through, she had witnessed her mother and twin sister die in front of her at the hands of the very person she once called dad on her 10th birthday. When it happened Emory felt empty inside, hollow. That was until a certain FBI agent chose to adopt the girl and be the father she could never have. After lots of therapy and progress she started to feel less empty and even decided that she wanted to be just like her adoptive father; someone who hunts monsters and saves people. So after finishing her academy training she was able to land a spot on Quantico, Virginias' top FBI unit, the BAU.
SPENCER REID, was a genius. Many often reminded him with the strange looks he received when he was able to read a novel in under 10 minutes or when he would ramble about the most specifics of the things. But as soon as a certain brunette girl showed up at the BAU the genius stopped being much of a genius. Of course he still would ramble and read but he would often lose focus whenever the girl was near him. He would a make a complete fool out of himself by tripping over air or accidentally burning himself with coffee. Once the fierce girl stepped foot into the office all of his attention would be on her; the way she twirled her hair when she got nervous or the way she was easily disturbed when a case involving a family would turn up. Whatever it was he noticed it, but what he didn't realise was she noticed too.
They were perfect for each other, but with all these obstacles in the way would they be able to make it out onto the other side together?
