"But who is the girl?. She has nothing I can use to identify her". Nicklaus was baffled.

This was the first time he was overly concerned about someone.

Nicklaus didn't know what this mixed feeling was. The girl was something else.

He didn't want to over think things. She was a nobody. And he was just a stand_in as her guardian.

And he had other things to do. Things like eliminating Emiliano.

It has been hours now and Nicklaus
The man creeped him out. "Hiss."

"Mr Nicklaus Rosario?". He heard his name.

And he turned to where his name was coming from. The person was the doctor in charge of the girl.

Since when did he start staying in the hospital.?

He needed to call Alejandro here right now. That man would persuade him. This was not his thing. The same voice cuts him off his thoughts.

"Your wife is going to be okay. But I am afraid she had been traumatized before the accident which has resulted to Traumatic brain injuries which happen when she hit her head or are hit in the head. They can cause short- or long-term problems that may affect every part of her life. A TBI may change how she think, act, feel and learn. It can affect her ability to work and build relationships." The doctor explained.

What is going on?. They think he was her husband?.

"Okay, what happened is that she has been traumatized and because I hit her, she got brain injury?. And why brain injury?".

Klause was restless. She was damaged in the head because of him?.

"So what are the short_time or long_time problems?". He asks.

"The problems are as I have earlier said. There would be change in the way she think, act, feel and learn. In her case, I am afraid it Is a long_term problem. I would advise that you stay on a good note with her. She need someone who is more understanding. So bad memories that caused the trauma would not reoccur as her husband".

The doctor explained again. The girl had really being tortured her whole life. That was not a fair case to follow.

"Thank you. So can I go in to check on her?".

"Sure. If she recognizes you as her husband then please let me know". The doctor said.

How was he to tell the doctor he was not her husband?. He had claimed the title already.

Alejandro would smoke him for this.

Nicklaus entered the room the room the girl had been operated. Hell he didn't even know her name. Why did he clam that she was his wife?.

He is officially fucked.

Sitting next to the girl on the bed, she looked oddly familiar. He waved the thought.

There was no way he knew a girl that is traumatized.

Nicklaus took a call through to Alejandro.

At once he picked it up. "I need you make me a contract. The terms will be written by me. I will send them to you now. I am getting married. And don't even ask, I am not in love with any one. Let's just say it is bussiness. You know?". He also hated Alejandro's guts. The man was just too gutsy.

No response. Nicklaus turned his phone to confirm he was still on call. Did these man intentionally kept quiet?.

His quietness was no good.

"Which room are you in?" That's only what he asked. Alejandro was something. He noted for the umpteenth time.

"135". He replied and was not surprised to see Alejandro walk in with a contract at hand.

Only that the contract was blank.

"Let me guess, the girl got hit by you and you suddenly think it is your responsibility to take care of her boss. What is this?". He questioned him. He dared question him.

"No. I will never deem it fit to waste my precious time on some girl I am not related to. I just thought I could_you Know spend some time to clear my head here". Nicklaus lied. Even though he was a great liar, but this was not bussiness. He was speaking with Alejandro, and he knew so well that Alejandro would never accept his lies.

"Fine. Let's just say that is true. But what's up with you getting married. I could not wrap my brain through it. You're not that dumb boss."

"Ofcourse,I knew that was why you went quiet. The doctor thinks I am her husband. And she currently has no guidian. And she would experience a TBI when she wakes. That bothers me because I was the one who hit her".

Nicklaus explained.

"Oh shit. Right in our pocket boss. This girl is source to our answer. Do you know who she is?".

"Why?. What do mean right in our pocket? Did you find anything about her?".

"Yes. I saw the news about this girl. Do you remember the scandal about Marcel's hidden daughter.?. I knew she looked familiar. All I had to do was check a source". Alejandro confirms.

This was totally good news.

What he was searching for us right in his pocket. One thing he was sure of is that.

Marcel hid his daughter from the Mafia world not the real world because he willed her as the owner of his assets because he promised his mistress whom he was madly in love with his assets.

But she had died.

And the man decieved his own family for his mistress, and kept the girl hidden because of his fetish act?.

Life is surely short.

"Then I shall proceed with the marriage.  You marry her officially. And take advantage of her side effects. You get what you want all you have to do is write out the terms of marriage to me. And I will bring you the contract do when she wakes, she only have to move in with you as your wife.".

"Whoa. Always calculative. I give you that".

Nicklaus rejoiced with him.

"Yeah boss. And bang.  We get Marcel. And let the girl go".

Did Nicklaus think that would be easy?
