"Where are we going? This isn't the way to the tubes." I was following Connor as he led us out of the school but when we took a turn that leads away from the Zeta Tubes I got confused.

"I wanted you to breathe. The moment we get back to the Cave they're gonna start bombarding you with questions. You were gone for hours." I gave him a smile although he couldn't see it since he was walking ahead of me. So I take a few quick steps so I'm walking in step with him.

"Thanks Connor, I appreciate it."

We got back to the Cave after a few hours of walking around. Connor and I just walked and talked to each other about whatever we could think of to get my mind off of the past few hours.

I guess I was just mainly worried to find out about what happened with my dad and that hobo guy. My stress was just building every time I thought about it.

We ended up getting lost in the end and had to use landmarks to find our way back, but to be honest that might have been the highlight of the whole thing. I just wanted every moment to be filled with mindless fun with my friends, but that was asking too much with the lives they live.

I don't know, one can still hope, right?

It was a bit unnerving to see everyone gathered in the Living Room when we walked in. And by everyone I meant everyone. The whole team and the adults were there just sitting in pin drop silence. There was no t.v. playing, nothing banging together from the kitchen, and no loud chatter.

Who died?

"Since you two are here have a seat." I snap out of my thoughts to nod at Batman and take a seat on the floor in front of the others. Connor also sat down on the floor next to me as well since every other space was filled with someone else.

"We don't have much of anything to discuss with you all, just wanted to make sure we were on the same page and make sure nothing else is wrong since the world is back to normal." Canary started the conversation, but then Flash stepped forward to chime in.

"I think we just pieced together our world splitting up the adults and the minors, as for why we still are figuring it out."

"What about Captain Marvel? What was all that about being able to go between both worlds?" Megan asked. She lowered her hand so that Connor could grasp it since he was sitting in front of her, and looking at everyone now... It seemed like they needed something to grasp on to.

The main one being Zatanna, she looks so....sad?

I couldn't describe it. It just felt like she had one of those days where she couldn't be bothered to live it anymore, like she was on auto-pilot. She was just in her own head not sparring anyone a glance.

I shuffled over to her as she was sitting on my right by herself on the arm chair and grabbed her hand to lightly give it a squeeze.

It seemed to have snapped her out of it a little bit as she gave a small but empty smile.

'At least it was something.'

"Marvel is being dealt with by The League, we will try to keep you informed but no promises."

'I always feel like they say that. It was the same with Red Tornado, always telling us not to worry and that it's their problem not ours. But not knowing just hurts more, we just think that it's more bad than what it might actually be.'

"He shouldn't get into trouble, right!? I mean without him we would have had no idea what was going on or to fix it without him!" Wally exclaimed. He gave the adults a look that made it look like he wanted them to challenge him on his words.

What he said though was the truth. I heard what they spoke about through the comms whenever one of them had it open, they were relying on Captain Marvel to help fix whatever happened.

"We are still... discussing it, but it shouldn't be anything to bad." Wonder Woman had finally stood up to step in on the conversation when she noticed that Wally was getting riled up and that Flash was about to open his mouth.

"Captain Marvel has done plenty to help and he shall be treated the way we always have treated him."

"That should be all we have to talk about, Z, I need to talk to you." Batman concludes before grabbing my attention. I squeeze Zatanna's hand one last so she could see the smile I gave her before pushing myself up off the floor and heading out the room.

I followed Bats to the main area where the Zeta Tubes are before he turned to me to ask the question that Connor knew someone would ask.

"What happened when you left? I got home only for D-Robin to tell me you weren't home or at the Cave." His voice sounded like he was so tired.

"I don't really remember, I was walking to the Tubes and then woke up in a container. My dad was still there as well as another man when everything else happened and you all disappeared." I tried to explain, but it was pretty hard when I had holes in my memory of what really happened before waking up.

He just lets out a sigh and rubs the space in-between his eyes as best he could with his mask on and trying to get the sleepiness out of his system.

'Alfred is differently gonna chew him out later.'

"We could go into more detail later at home. The only good news I have is that we managed to find you before the reality split. Since Robin was able to get to you we were only able to get the men. They both were arrested a few hours ago before we solved everything."

I felt such a relief that I most likely looked like a soggy newspaper with how far I relaxed. A part of me was really worried that at least Hobo got away during all of it. But that doesn't mean it's over, a small portion of Cadmus still exists and they seem like they're still up to something that would be even worse than today.

"Zane," Him using my full name made me look at him, slightly humming as if I was saying 'huh?' "Try to relax for now, the worst of it is gone and we'll figure out how to get rid of your trigger, you have my word."

I gave him a genuine smile before nodding at him.

"Thanks B, for everything I'm really happy here."
