Minjun P.O.V
Kat was pacing my room. He had been for an hour. I could tell by his face that he was going through a range of emotions as I told him the truth. After another 20 minutes, he finally stopped and turned toward me.
"They blackmailed you into leaving us?" I sighed. He'd asked the same question 10 times. I wondered if he thought he would get a different answer eventually.
"Yes. They gave me an ultimatum. It was me or all of us. I've told you that several times."
"What did they use to not only make you leave the group but also the country?" I looked away.
"I can't tell you." His brow was raised when I turned back to him.
"Why?"
"If I tell you, you'll get angrier than you already are. You may be the peaceful one of us but you scare me when you're angry." He took a step closer and held out his hand.
"Come here, Minjun." He sighed when I didn't obey. "I'm not angry with you. You're not in the wrong. They are. My anger is not directed at you. I'm sorry for scaring you." He stepped into me and wrapped his arms around my waist. I finally broke. He fell to the ground with me. We sat there for a while and he whispered sweet nothings into my ear as I cried. I wasn't sure how long we stayed there but it was long into the day when he finally picked me up and took me into the bathroom. He didn't say anything as he sat me on the sink and turned on the shower.
"What does he have on us, Junie?" I looked down and played with my fingers. I knew that Kat would be the one to find me. He always did. Even during our trainee days when I'd have a breakdown. He was always the first to find me. I fell in love with him long before I fell in love with Xiao and Zane. He always had the ability to put me back together. I knew that Kat would always find me no matter where or how far I went. There was a reason he was called the peace of the group. It wasn't because he held his temper better than the rest of us and it wasn't because he always kept a loving touch either. It was because he knew what we needed and gave it to us. We never had to say a word. He just knew. From the very beginning, he just always knew. He knew what to say and how to touch us to make everything okay again. I wanted to believe they would leave it be but I knew they wouldn't. I knew he wouldn't.
"Us." He turned back to me and began to take off my clothes.
"What do you mean us?" I pointed between the two of us.
"They told me that if I didn't leave, they would expose all of us. Specifically, what we are to each other. I didn't lie about being tired. I was willing to do anything for the three of you. I chose you guys. I chose the careers you cherish. I couldn't just let that get taken away, not in that way. You didn't deserve that." His hands froze at my pants and he looked up at me.
"Do you think you did?" My eyes widened at his question. I hadn't once asked myself that since I left.
"Maybe. I was the reason all of it happened. If I hadn't fought back and just gave them what they wanted, none of this would have happened." He stood up and finished taking off my clothes.
"You're wrong, baby. It still would have happened. In fact, it would have only gotten worse. Because you fought back, you were able to get out alive. So what if everyone at the company thinks poorly of you? So what if they find out about our relationship? What difference would that have made? The answer is none. It wouldn't have made any difference at all. Now, get under the warm water and wash away all of those tears. I'll be back in a moment. I have to make a call. Do you want me to get in with you when I come back?" I didn't hesitate even a bit before nodding.
"Yes please." He smiled and walked out. I knew who he was going to call. It was going to happen no matter what I said. All I could do was sigh at the fact that my long-needed break was over. I slid under the scolding hot water. He knew me well. Sometimes I thought maybe too much. He came back a few minutes later and took off his own clothes before getting in with me. I smiled when I saw him. I'd seen him naked so many times but every time I couldn't help but appreciate his beautiful body. It definitely fit him. Everything about him was beautiful. It wasn't till he chuckled that I realized I'd been staring.
"I'm sorry. I just never get used to it." He shook his head and wrapped his arms around my waist."
"I'm sorry too. I should have found you sooner. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be."
"No, I enjoyed my vacation. I needed it. I had a lot of time to think about everything."
"What was your conclusion." I laid my head against his shoulder and kissed his neck lightly.
"I was a fucking idiot to think I could live without you. I really can't. I spend all this time crying myself to sleep and eating crappy takeout. You have no idea how hard it is to find decent ramen around here." I pulled away and looked up at him again.
"I promise you that as soon as we get home, I'll make you the most delicious bowl of ramen to ever exist." I smiled and nodded.
"Please." He chuckled again.
"I promise." He moved away and picked up the shampoo. I shook my head.
"I washed my head yesterday." He nodded.
"Body wash then?" My face turned a shade of red as I nodded. I picked it up and began to massage it into my skin. "Don't act so shy. This isn't the first time and it won't be the last." I huffed.
"Shut up." He raised a brow at my reaction.
"You haven't touched yourself even once since you left?" I shook my head. A moan slipped from my mouth without my permission. "Why?"
"I can't cum without you anymore. It would just leave me frustrated." He sighed.
"Am I still allowed to touch you in that way? I mean, after all, you did tell me you didn't love me anymore. Well, you told me you didn't love me at all actually." I pulled away and leaned against the shower wall.
"I didn't..."
"I know you didn't but don't say those words ever again. Even if they weren't true, they hurt us deeply."
"I'm sorry." He wrapped his arms around me again and pulled me toward him."
"I know, Junie."
