After the fall of the farm, the survivors didn't have anywhere stable to stay for too long. So, most of the time, they were jumping from place to place. With that, they all had to take roles, Daryl still stayed as their hunter, getting food for them like he did at the Atlanta camp. Hershel was still their medic, and had been teaching Carol. With Lori's pregnancy progressing, and knowing she'd be giving birth while on the road, they had to be prepared.

Katherine joined Maggie and Glenn and became their supply runners, since she was quick on her feet, and helped Glenn back in Atlanta, they knew she'd be a good help to get any supplies they need. On one of her runs, she found more weaponry, she found a better knife for Harlow, and a smaller knife for herself to keep in her boot if she ever needed it. Carl and Harlow have gotten closer while on the road, spending their time together when they can.

Katherine and Beth also began dating. A week after the fall of the farm, they shared their first kiss and since then have been going strong. Katherine wanted to give Beth time to properly mourn her ex-boyfriend, Jimmy, but Beth told her she didn't want to waste anymore time and be with Katherine since they could both die soon, and if she was going to go, she'd want to go knowing Katherine was her girlfriend, her first girlfriend.

Carl had really stepped up, he often goes along with his Dad to clear out places before the rest of the group joins. Harlow wants to, she's a pretty good shot, but at the moment she's still a little scared. Katherine believes in her sister, and knows that Harlow has it in her to take out walkers, because there is going to be a day where Katherine won't be there and Harlow is going to have to take one out herself.

The past 7 months have been harsh, winter was even harsher, but the group survived through it. Finding winter clothes in abandoned places, more weapons and ammo, and even silencers for their guns so they can use them without attracting anymore unwanted attention. Harlow's also grown taller. Before the farm fell, Katherine was able to keep track of the days, but now, she isn't entirely sure what day or month it is.

She thinks it's about June since it's starting to warm up again. Which means it's been her birthday and she's now 17. She doesn't feel any different, not that it matters now anyways. In this new world, age really is just a number. No matter who you are, you're going to have to adapt to the new world. Lori and Rick's unborn baby is going to grow up only knowing this world. They won't know anything about what it was like growing up in the old world. It'd be up to them to tell stories about what it was like.

Katherine was outside, hiding in the trees with Harlow, Lori, Carol, Hershel and Beth. Glenn and Maggie were up ahead, keeping watch with their guns. Katherine stayed back with them, ready to defend them if a walker came up and surprised them. Even though everyone has gotten pretty good at using their knives and other weapons they found to defend and kill walkers, Katherine was one of the best in the group, despite being the 3rd youngest.

A whistle from Rick signaled to them that it was safe. They carried the group's belongings into the house, Katherine put the bags she was carrying down, before latching onto Beth's hand and smiling, who returned her smile. Lori's belly was huge, they weren't exactly sure how far along she was, so they had to be prepared for her to go into labor at any time now. Once everyone was in, Rick closed the doors.

"Looks like this is home for the night" Katherine mumbled.

Carl walked into the room, carrying two cans. He came and sat next to Katherine and Beth, going into one of the bags and pulling out a can opener they found. They figured they would need it since most of their food would be cans. Carl began opening it, but before he could get it fully open, Rick came in and hurled it across the room. At least they still had the owl that Daryl was currently plucking.
