Chapter 2 - Final Farewell

A/N Just saying I do ship Percabeth (Picture above is one of my fav Percabeth fanarts)but again for the sake of this story, Percy and Annabeth won't be together. Who knows, maybe I'll write another PJO fanfic where it is Percabeth <3

Percy's POV

I haven't came out of my cabin at all since the Annabeth incidence. What makes it worse was that none fo my friends were checking up on me except Nico, Leo and surprisingly Clarisse. Those 3 were actually constantly coming to my cabin to cheer me up which may I say hasn't been wo All my other friends were just hanging around with Nathan acting like I didn't exist which half true since I never came out but still...

I decided to actually go out of my cabin. Firstly because I was hungry as hell and secondly... there was no second reason so yeah...

The moment I walked out it was chaos. All the young campers ran away from my sight. I looked around to see if any of my friends were close by. I didn't see Clarisse, Nico and Leo. Leo was probably making something, Nico was probably in the underworld and Clarisse was probably doing whatever training she likes doing. But, apart from those 3 I did see Jason, Piper, Hazel and Frank. They were hanging out with Nathan, looking at me with disgusted looks. 

At that moment, I knew I lost my appetite but not only that but I also lost most of my friends... Not being able to take in the heartbreak anymore, I ran back into the cabin slamming the door shut behind me. Luckily, Nathan never came to bother me, probably with Annabeth 24/7. I winced at the thought. 

That night I decided that it was pointless staying at Camp Half-Blood if I was going to stay in my cabin all day, so I was going to leave. I packed up all my stuff but left Riptide and a letter behind. The letter read...

Dear all the young campers reading this,

I'm writing this to tell you guys that I will probably be leaving. Please have a good life without me, which I trust won't be hard for any of you guys.  

Dear Jason, Piper, Leo and Frank,

I hope you guys have a great time. I have enjoyed our time as friends but that has now come to an end. I do not know why you have abandoned me but you have your reasons and I have mine so we'll leave it at that. (A/N Does this even make sense)

Dear Nathan, 

I hope you liked the result of your actions. I hope you are happy with Annabeth. Treat her well...

Dear Annabeth, 

I do not know what I did to break your trust but know that this will be the end of our relationship together. I respect your decisions and if he makes you happy and I don't...so be it. I had trusted you with my life, with my Achilles. I sacrificed everything for you... I guess you never had the same feelings for me as I had for you...

Dear Nico, 

Thank you for sticking with me for my whole time at camp. You were like the younger brother I've never had. I just want you to know that I am still sorry for the loss of your sister Bianca, it was my fault, please forgive me...

Dear Leo, 

You were one of the only ones that stuck with me. Thank you for always being here, for everyone. I hope you have a good life with Calypso, you guys are made for each other. Also, i know you've been wanting a new sword (A/N Pretend this is true) so Riptide is now yours (A/N , I know this is Cliche but idc Leo's amazing!!) Also, please feed Blackjack for me, he loves donuts...

Dear Clarisse, 

I don't even know how to say this but thank you with all my heart. I know we've had a long way to come. Thank you for everything... Also, I'm sorry for the loss of Silena, that was my fault and I will be forever sorry...

Dear Chiron, 

Thank you for being like a father to me. You were always there for me, on my side no matter good or bad. I will miss you sincerely. Thank you for everything you have done for me.

And with that I opened my cabin door and stepped out into the forest, never looking back...
