A love that transcends through time.

Imagine each soul as one string. When one soul meets another, sometimes it knots and sometimes it may simply pass through. The meeting of souls may result in many different shapes, or cause it to shape the mold of a new life and steer its direction.

What may seem like an unseeingly coincidental encounter, becomes a catalyst and starts moving in one vague yet clear direction

A fate that repeats itself is meant to be reunited one way or another.

This is the power of fate.

A lone figure dressed in a black raincoat, stood precariously at the edge of the cliffs of Clo Mor admiring the ferocity of the raging waves crashing on to the rocks below. The light rain masked the tears running down her face as she could relate the utter chaos and turmoil that surrounding her to what she is feeling in her heart.

First love...you will never forget. Did you forget about me?

I wish I could forget you, so that I don't measure everybody that I meet to you. How could you have abandoned me too. I hate that I am still yearning for you. I hate that I still have hope. I hate how you have shown me what love could be and you took it away from me.

We met at such a young age and for such a short amount of time, but I can't seem to let you go. Why didn't you come find me?

I am not holding my breath and waiting for you to come back to me anymore.

It has been five years, I should let go.

*Ring* Ring*

The lone figure calmly looked at the caller ID but answered in annoyance.

"I'm not --"

"You need to come home."

"Home? What home?" The lone figure scoffed at the last word.

"Thailand."

"Why?"

"Our parents are dead."

The phone slipped out of the figure's hand and shattered the screen into pieces.

Rebecca Patricia Armstrong arrived to Suvarnabhumi Airport at 2am in the morning, and there was scarcely anyone at the airport. She took a deep breath and tried to calm her nerves but her hands still trembled slightly as she argued with herself internally to not delve too deep into her feelings.

Don't have any expectations. You have always been treated as an orphan. Expect nothing, gained nothing, and lost nothing.
It is simply a family duty.
Get in and get out.

Get in and get out.

Rebecca kept mentally repeating to herself as her taxi drove her to the address her brother gave her. It led her to a luxury condo with a private entrance that her brother had instructed her ahead of time. She took the private elevator up and it opened to a penthouse she had never seen before.

Her brother was standing in the living room waiting for her.

"You've finally arrived."

"What happened Richard."

"Not even a hello? How are you?"

"We don't have that kind of relationship. Tell me what happened. What do you need me to do?" Rebecca replied in a stoic voice.
